I had never been a particularly bad tempered person, even though the Irish in me is lashed out every now and then I have never been a bitter person. However, the rage I was feeling now is muderous. If I had an idea that my parents were murdered I probably would have felt some sense of relief, but up until this point I thought it was purely accidental and now I know my beloved parents were killed by a cruel beauty. It is disgusting to me how beautiful Lacey is - no doubt to lure in her victims. The images of what a striking couple Aubrey and Lacey must have been seems incomprehensible. But dangerous. Very dangerous. I had all this rage and no way to get rid of it so I decided so get out and go for a drink. Not that it would solve my problems but it sure as hell would be nice to do something normal and hopefully distracting.

I grabbed my keys, got into my beat up car and drove to Sapphire. I loved this little pub partly because it had a big enough dance floor and cosy spots to sit, and more importantly dim enough to be left alone. I walked into a spot that Faye and I usually sit in. Shit! Thinking of Faye, guilt washes through me, I haven't spoken to her in such a long time. I decided I should give her a call and invite her here because I could use her bubbly optimistic personality. I dial her number, " h- hi.." A breathless Faye greets. " Hey Faye is Kara, are you okay?" I ask a little worried, maybe she is sick?. " Oh hey Kara.. Yeah... Um.. I'm all.. Good.." Faye responds and I'm getting a little creeped out, but then I hear a womans voice over the phone and I figure it all out.. She is with someone, ha! Talk about akward. " I can hear.. Your.. A little busy Faye, sorry to disturb.. Um.. Was just sitting at Sapphires wanted to know if you wanted to come get hopelessly drunk with me.. But.. I can hear that your obviously doing quite a... Strenuous workout.. So nevermind" I say with a smile, I'm glad that she is going out there and finally finding someone because usually her taste in men and women and horrific. I only hope the mysterious woman was someone of better taste. " Um.. Haha.. Well Kara you always had a poor sense of timing, but I would love to see you.. So see you there in about ten minutes Irish bitch!" And with that she giggles and put the phone down. Faye better get here soon while I can still comprehend any words cause after downing my 5th tequila not much conversation would be going around.

Finally, Faye walks into the bar and heads to where I'm sitting. " Hey girl!" Faye chrips to me in her happy voice. " Heeeeeeeey!" I yell, trying not the make a blur of that word. " Wow baby girl, how much have you drank already?" Faye asks with amusement in her eyes. "Um.. Hang on, hang on, there was tequila who joined the party, some vodka got jealous and joined the party and now I felt so bad for neglecting the rum I invitied it to the party too.." I slurred knowing deep down that I was way over tipsy but hey, I deserved it. Faye just laughed and said " wow quite the party, think you could handle two more?". " Sure, you and...?" I ask a little curious. " I would like you to meet my friend slash sex buddy" Faye admits with not a care in the world - she wasn't a big fan of commitment but a big fan of sex, only problem is, is that she couldn't decide if she liked sex with a man or a woman more so she played it cool and chose both. I smiled and said " alright let's meet the lucky.. " I pause and whisper " gentleman or lady?". Faye quickly adds, " lady". "Right then, let us meet the lady who rocked your world a little while ago" I say genuinely pleased that Faye looked so happy, she looked behind her and motioned someone over and my body went cold when I saw the gorgeous creature walk over. Shit, shit, shit! " Kara I would like you to meet Lacey, Lacey this is my best friend, self-appointed sister Kara" Faye beams at Lacey no doubt infatuated. " Oh we have already met, in art, fancy meeting you again Kara" Lacey purrs and all the charm just oozes from her voice. I stare and her, now suddenly stone cold sober. And I can do is look at her, and try not to scream while she smiles knowingly.
