I slumped my head on the desk. School seemed so irrelevant when life had gone from normal to crazy supernatural in what seemed like no time at all. Images of Faye and Lacey kept circling my mind, making it fairly obvious that I was going to have a bad day.

I smelt her before I saw her, once turning my head I was captivated by how beautiful Aubrey is... And how worried she looked.  "Baby, I promise to find a way out of this mess.. In fact I think I may have a plan but I will have to talk to you in a less public place." Aubrey said in a whispered tone. My hopes lifted a little at that but crashed to the ground when Lacey strolled in with Faye wrapped around her waist. Again, my head slumped on the desk. Did I mention what a long day this was going to be?

Lacey and Faye started walking in my direction but I was confused by the expressions they were both wearing. Lacey had a smirk, some hidden joke or secret that played upon her lips.. But Faye.. She looked angry and determined. " we need to talk in private, right now Kara." Faye angrily said. Confused I stood up and followed her outside. "What's wrong Fa-"I began and was soon interrupted. " I can't believe you are doing this to me, what Kara - Aubrey isn't enough for you? You have to have Lacey as well? " Faye shouted in an angry outburst. I was so stunned I didn't even know what to say.. Literally speechless. " I would never do that to you Faye, you don't understand" I pathetically attempted to reply. " No! Lacey is mine Kara,I thought we were friends... Stay away from us both!" And with that she stormed away - went inside grabbed Lacey and left.

Did that really just happen? Had I really just lost my best friend?

Again, did I mention this was going to be a long day?
