"What is it you want Lacey?" I ask, knowing how incredibly stupid I was to confront Lacey alone. "You know baby, I can't decide what I want more, you or Kara?" Lacey added in her sultry voice.
"Why can't you leave us alone... You could have almost anyone you wanted, and yet you chose me.. Why?" I beg, almost regretting this question immediately. Does anyone ask a robber why they are stealing from them? Does anyone question why they are about to get killed and expect a good answer? The answer is no. I'm plunging further down the whole where their is no return.
Suddenly Lacey slammed me into the wall, kissing me like her life depended on it, while over the shock I pushed her away.. She laughed.
"I know your dark side baby, better than anyone ever will.. And I know that your dark side will show up, and I'll be there waiting.. Cause when it shows, Kara will never look at you the same." Lacey said in a matter of fact tone, and with that she was gone.
If I could get a shiver up my spine it would be happening now. This feels like the calm before the storm, I have to consider my actions.
Maybe if I give myself into Lacey, Kara will forever be at peace and safe?
