A/N: This chapter is sad and amazing and soft all in one.

"So why don't you like Yeonjun?" Kai asked, pouring all three of them drinks.

Soobin shrugged and looked around. Kai just lived in a basic middle-class home. Three bedrooms and a bathroom. Two stories, but barely any hallways. It was similar to Taehyun's back home.

"He doesn't like me, so I don't like him."

"No, he just didn't like that you were a barbie," Taehyun said and Soobin's eyes widened.

"That's what they called us?"

Taehyun nodded, looking at the door that opened. Yeonjun really was out all day after he brought Taehyun home from the hospital. It was 1 a.m. now.

"Where were you?" Kai asked.

"Helping my dad."

Taehyun remembered Yeonjun saying his dad recently got a job as a mechanic. He was doing it by himself with a lot of help from Yeonjun who was just glad his dad finally has a decent job.

He looked at Soobin and was about to go off, but he saw the boy's tear stained cheeks and red eyes. They all just silently watched him go to the bathroom and Kai handed him a glass of water when he came back so he could take medicine.

"Do you have a headache?" Soobin asked.

Taehyun quickly shushed him and Soobin went silent when he saw "SSRI" written on the label.

"Matter of fact, yes I do." He started walking back to the bathroom when Kai grabbed his hand.

"Why don't you have some water and tell me about how your day went?" He asked, smiling softly as Yeonjun drunk the water. "Did you work on any cool cars?"

"Yeah..."

"The water will help your headache go down. Come on. You can get to know Soobin too. He left their group." Yeonjun looked at Soobin who awkwardly waved at him. "What happened today?"

They all got Yeonjun to talk to them. Even Soobin, who had his arm around him and was laughing when he was ranting about a Karen. It made Taehyun once again bamboozled. How could Soobin hang out with those people, let alone date one of them?

For one, the group was full with a bunch of snobby rich kids, but he was the humblest rich person Taehyun has ever met.

For another, the group hated Yeonjun for the sole reason that he could -and would- beat all of them up. Yet here Soobin was, hugging him closely when his emotions got the best of him and he broke down in tears.

"It's okay Hyung," Soobin whispered, soothingly rubbing his back as the smaller cried into his chest. Taehyun wanted to cry too, obviously. He didn't like seeing other people crying.

He knew why Kai looked calm and collected though. As Yeonjun's best friend, he was always the shoulder for this broken boy's tears. He had cried with Yeonjun a bunch of times before, but this time, the older had another shoulder to cry on.

"The medicine is supposed to make me happier," he whispered while laying his head in Soobin's chest, looking away in embarrassment when the younger wiped his tears away. "B-but-"

"It's okay," Soobin said, looking at Taehyun who was still staring at him. "I know this person in your life left you. And I know this person hurt you. But it'll be okay. Sometimes we have to move on and accept the people who are in our lives now. The people who are trying to help us. At some point in your life, you'll be happy enough to forget the things they did to you."

Yeonjun started crying again and Taehyun ran to the bathroom, slamming the door shut and falling on the floor in a mess of sobs and tears.

One of the things Yeonjun was crying about was his mom. When he was younger, he had the best relationship with her, but his parents got divorced. She became mean when she married someone new. Not abusive, but just... mean.

She died when he was fifteen, and it's one of the things that's has caused him to hurt himself for the past five years. Well, up until he was eighteen when he finally started getting help.

He was so broken. How could Soobin compare Beomgyu's cruel nature to the things Yeonjun has gone through? Taehyun didn't deserve that kind of sympathy. He didn't deserve for Soobin to stare at him while aiming his words at both him and Yeonjun.

He didn't deserve that kind of kind treatment.

At least, that's what Mia had told him.

He didn't believe her back then, but he was too emotional right now to think of anything else other than the fact that he didn't deserve Soobin's kindness. That he didn't deserve Kai to come in with a cupcake and a warm smile to comfort him.

"It was an emotional night," Kai said, gently taking his hand and leading him out of the bathroom. "I think it's time to go to sleep."

"Yeah," Soobin agreed, still comforting a quivering Yeonjun. "Where can we sleep?"

Kai thought of something and made them all wait while he went to his bedroom to get a bunch of blankets.

"Who wants to make a fort and fall asleep watching Lion King?"

"Hyuka, Soobin and Yeonjun are adults. They're not gonna wanna-"

"Fuck that," Yeonjun said, smiling and standing up to take a blanket. "You guys can go sleep in a boring bed if you want. Kai and I are making a fort."

Taehyun giggled and nodded, pulling Soobin up to help them.

The night finally ended with Kai and Taehyun sleeping normally, and Yeonjun, who was very much straight, sleeping on top of Soobin's chest.

A/N: Yeonjun is definitely straight.
