*A few days later*
"Dalrae," Yeonjun said, walking over to his dad's new girlfriend who was sitting on the couch. "Do you think you can help me straighten up a little bit? I'm gonna have company over."
The woman nodded and stood up. "Who?"
"Just... a couple of friends."
He never told his dad or his girlfriend that he and Soobin were dating. He was pretty sure his dad wouldn't care. He would probably just be surprised since Yeonjun had always claimed he was straight.
A little bit later, the doorbell rang and he dragged his dad over. "What?" He laughed, sitting on the couch next to Dalrae.
"Well first of all, Kai is here." He opened the door to let Kai in and then quickly shut it. "You guys know Kai. But he came with my new significant other."
His dad's eyes widened. "Who is she?"
It's okay. He thinks Yeonjun is straight, that's all.
"Well..." Yeonjun opened the door again and in walked Soobin, clad in a suit with his black hair styled neatly. "She's actually a boy."
His dad's eyes widened and Yeonjun frowned, ready to just leave and have their date somewhere else. "Who are you?" He asked, standing up and walking over to Soobin.
"My name is Soobin, Sir."
He shook his hand and Yeonjun's dad eyed him suspiciously. "Are you rich?" Soobin tilted his head and nodded. "I don't like him."
"What?" Yeonjun asked.
"The last relationship you had with a rich person didn't end well."
Soobin sighed and grabbed Yeonjun's hand. "I also dated her, and she abused me emotionally. I would never do anything to hurt your son. He means everything to me."
Yeonjun's dad looked at him and squinted his eyes. "Is this the serotonin you were talking about?" Yeonjun giggled and nodded. "Okay... but if you're gonna look like a gentleman, you better act like one Soobin."
He walked to the dining room and Yeonjun smiled. "He didn't care that you were a boy!"
Kai looked at Dalrae though, seeing her irritatedly get up and follow her boyfriend.
"I think the woman has a problem with it," he said and Yeonjun sighed.
"I didn't even think about her."
Yeonjun couldn't cook. So he just ordered Chinese and they all sat around the table eating it. "Mr. Choi, did you get that new job?" Kai asked.
Apparently being self-employed wasn't working out for him, so Yeonjun's dad tried to find another job in the same field. "Yes, I did."
Yeonjun's eyes widened. "You didn't tell me that."
"I just found out this morning. I was gonna tell you at dinner anyway, so I guess this works out." He laughed and Yeonjun went on congratulating him.
Soobin looked around, frowning when he saw Dalrae glaring at him. "What's the matter?"
""What's the matter?"" She repeated, standing up. "I don't want my future son to be a sinner, that's what!"
"Excuse me!" Soobin yelled, also standing up. "I've known Yeonjun a hell of a lot longer than you have! You have no right to say what's best for him!"
"And you do?!"
"I never tried to tell him what he could or couldn't do!"
Kai was already out the door, understandably not wanting to be in the middle of this. "Babe," Yeonjun whispered, grabbing Soobin's hand. "Let's just go."
"Yeah. Go," Dalrae said and Soobin gently pried his arm away from Yeonjun.
"No. I'm not gonna sit here and let you kick him out of his own house. And if his own father won't stick up for him, then I will Goddamnit."
"I like him," Yeonjun's dad said, pointing at Soobin.
Soobin glared at Dalrae. "You're not gonna stop, are you?"
"No. Not as long as he's still dating a boy."
"Then you can leave," Yeonjun's dad said. "You have no place in this family."
Yeonjun was upset. He liked her before. She was the only woman his dad has dated that he actually liked.
And as if the night couldn't get any worse...
"Hey," a voice said from the front door.
They all looked, eyes widening when a certain brunette was standing there.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Soobin asked Beomgyu.
