24. Serves Him Right

Two, or well, three students who absolutely hated the popular kids and wanted them to perish...

Were now deciding on a way to make that happen.

"I know Taehyun hates Beomgyu, but he'll still be mad at us if we ruin Beomgyu's life," Kai said.

"Well, maybe if Taehyun knew that Beomgyu has turned into a horrible bully, he wouldn't be too mad about it," Soobin said, watching Beomgyu shoving someone down the hall. He shook his head. "Maybe we can get the new principal to do something."

Yeonjun nodded. "I think that would be a good idea. She's made it a point that she doesn't like bullying. And since she doesn't take anyone's shit, Beomgyu and Mia make sure not to do anything when she's around. And everybody's still too afraid of them to tell her."

Even though there was still a piece of them that was scared, they knew Yeonjun wasn't. He fucking hated Mia and Beomgyu, enough to not be scared of possible consequences.

"I've seen them doing something questionable," Kai said. "And I know it was Mia's fault. That can take care of her."

"What is it?"

"Song Mia and Choi Beomgyu, you're needed in the principal's office," a teacher said at their classroom door. "Bring your stuff."

They reluctantly got up to follow the teacher downstairs, confused when they saw cops in the office, along with Yeonjun, Soobin, and Kai.

"We're gonna need to check your bag," one of them said, grabbing Mia's bag from her.

"That's illegal," she rolled her eyes.

Kai watched curiously as they searched both of their bags, only finding a vape in Mia's. "So is this," he said, putting it in a plastic bag. "We'll take you down to the station for questioning."

"Wait, what?! You can't do that!"

They dragged her away and the three boys had to hold back smiles, but Yeonjun squeezed Soobin's hand and looked at Kai.

"You were new this year, right?"

Beomgyu nodded and sat in the chair in front of the desk, glaring at the three of them. "I moved here from Busan."

She nodded and looked through a few papers for a second. "You moved here with your friend?" She looked at him above her glasses and he looked at the three boys while biting his lip.

"Yes..."

"And where is your friend now?"

"Busan."

"Why?"

"I don't know."

"I think you do know."

"I don't."

He had no right to be the angry one in this situation, but his face was red and he looked seriously mad.

"If you cooperate with me and do what I say, you might not get expelled."

His eyes widened and he sat there for a second. "I made a rumor about him that Mia spread."

"And Kai told me that because of the rumor, everyone else started bullying and harassing him, right?" Beomgyu looked down and nodded. "A detention for every day for for rest of the year and you have to personally apologize to everyone you hurt. Even if it was verbally."

Beomgyu's eyes widened and he looked at the three of them in anger. "But that's embarrassing!"

"So is making people think someone is a whore. Do you feel absolutely no sympathy for someone you grew up with? Someone who never hurt you?"

"This isn't about him! Why the fuck do I have to be punished? I didn't do anything!"

"Other teachers have already confirmed it," she said and he slumped in his seat. "It's either you do what I said, or you get expelled when you're almost finished with amazing grades."

For the first time in a while, Beomgyu looked like he was about to cry. "Serves him right," Kai whispered.
