"Nice!" Peter said as he was impressed with the progress Emma had made each training session. He tightened his glove and got ready to fight. Emma threw an under arm punch at his chest but he hit her hand out the way using his forearm causing her to miss. The light was reflecting off them like they had just come out the swimming pool. They were as red as tomatoes.
Taking off her gloves and sitting down on the bench, Emma raised an eyebrow to Peter and said, "How are you so good at boxing?"
"Don't worry! You will improve, I promise!" Peter said in a reassuring way as he sat down on the brown bench, to pack away his belongings, next to Emma. Once they had finished with packing away their training gear, they wiped their faces dry with a white cloth and both stood up and headed to the kitchen to get some food and a drink. Whilst they were limping with tiredness down the long corridor, this figure started walking towards them in long strides. As he got closer, Emma could make out some of his features. He had black, greased back hair about shoulder length. He was wearing black and green armour with a splash of gold and he had his hands and arms behind his back. Emma had never seen this tall, strong, serious... God? He had armour just like Thor, but green? Who is he? Emma thought about him all day! She had not seen him at all since the first meet, If you could call it that, until it was dinner time. Everyone set down excited to eat their five star chief made warm food. Tony was tucking in his napkin into the top of his shirt; Nat was talking to Clint who was sitting next to her not really paying attention. He was wriggling in his seat watching the food getting served. But this some sort of a man that Emma was thinking about all day just walked by casually and got his dinner taking it somewhere.
Emma screamed, "So is no one going to say anything about the strange looking man that looks like Thor but green?!" Watching him leave the room with his hot roast dinner.
Thor mumbled with a mouth full of food, "That's my brother, Loki, The God of Mischief! Stay away from him! He is dangerous!" Then he stuffed more food in his mouth pushing it in with the end of his knife. Everyone just look at him in disgust. "What?" he said whilst spitting food everywhere on the clean white table cloth. Then again the so called 'God of Mischief' walks in with his plate clean like it had just got pulled out of the cupboard.
"Hey you!" Emma shouted standing up from the table and scraping her chair against the floor, making a scratching sound, pointing at Loki. He ignored her and put his pate in the dish full of water and bubbles. "Hey!"
Turning around slowly leading with his head to face Emma, Loki rolled his eyes and said, "What do you want mortal?" He started walking towards the door.
"How have I never seen you before?" Emma said in confusion. "I have been with the Avengers since I have been five."
"Lucky you." Loki says sarcastically. He was nearly to the door but he decides to turn around and walk towards Thor. He leans over Thor's shoulder and whispers in his ear, "Manners Thor!" He scoffs. Thor swallows his big mouthful of food with a big gulp.
"Loki? Did you really eat your food that fast?" Thor says looking at his own pate then back up at the back of Loki's head. Loki turned around and stood still looking at Thor with a devilish look in his eyes!
"What do you think, Thor?" He said knowing that Thor knew the answer.
"Taking that as a no, you did not even touch your food. Am I right?" Thor said looking disappointed in Loki. Loki just smiled as a response.
"Back to my question. I have been an Avenger since I was twenty-two and I have been living in the tower since then as well and I have never," Loki already teleported only to leave a green light behind which shortly disappeared before Emma could finish her sentence. "God. He is so rude!" She sighs and sits back down in her seat and eats her roasted meat with soft roasted potatoes and a small Yorkshire pudding covered in gravy. She was not particularly fond of broccoli but she still ate it trying not to be rude and spit it out every two seconds.
