Wei wuxian wakes up in an unfamiliar room .He looked around opening his eyes .He tried to recall what happened  and understand where he was .

He was supposed to be dead.

Well the last time he checked he was dead

definitely Very Much Dead.

He remembered his shijie sacrificing herself for saving him, he remembered about him losing control that lead to wen ning killing Jin Zixuan and Jin zixun.

    Wen qing and wen ning turning themselves to jin  clan ,the death of the remaining wen remnants.

Nightless city war which was   held to kill him , his sister dying saving him  , him destroying the Stygian Amulet. He remembered jumping of the cliff then a hand catching him before he fell off .....

"Lan Zhan" he murmured under his breath .

The arms that always managed to catch him before he fell down . The pair of arms he wish he could be in forever .

Wei wuxian had realized his deep feeling for lan wangji when he saw him after he returned back from the burial mounds,he knew how much he missed him the way his soul yearned for him .It was Lan Zhan's voice that gave him strength to return back alive from the place no one ever could make it .
