This is the sixth chapter. Hope you enjoy it. WARNING: there will be a bit of blood and knife related stuff in this chapter.
Some time later...
Garth, wear black trousers and a grey shirt, stood with Sue and Reed on a room with a large glass window, (in front of a computer on Sue's right) Johnny in a massive Titanium box below. Garth was helping the others test out their powers. Of course, his scientific knowledge wasn't a far as there's, but there was still a need for his biology skills. "He's heating up from his core." Reed spoke. "And his vitals are completely normal." Sue added. "His whole body's covered in flames, yet his molecular structure is completely intact, eh?" Garth added, seeing the information from his computer. Garth then looked over at Reed's computer, and saw Johnny's temperature, which was getting pretty hot. A little too hot. So hot his eyes widened. "That's hotter than I anticipated. Okay, Johnny, back it down." Reed ordered to Johnny below. "I can go hotter!" Johnny replied from within the box, a few seconds before, when he looked down at the box, Garth saw orange heat emerge through the gaps in the box. "Johnny, just back it down!" Sue ordered but to no avail. Johnny kept getting hotter and hotter, the light of the head causing them to cover their eyes, Garth holding up his right arm. "Johnny, back it down right now!" Reed shouted. "Johnny!" Sue added. "Listen to us!" Garth added, desperate to yell 'idiot' at him, as he moved his left hand in front of his eyes due to the brightness. A few seconds later, Reed pressed a red button which then sprayed on Johnny foam, which made him stop. Garth followed Reed and Sue out of the room they were in, and, standing against the railing on Sue' right, looked down at a laughing Johnny through a hole in the box. "Buzz-kill! You guys are crampin' my style!" He said, covered in foam. "Johnny, you were last recorded at 4000 degrees Kelvin. A few more seconds and you've reached 5000." Garth explained. "Sweet!" Johnny spoke. "No, not sweet. That's the temperature of the Sun." Sue said back. "Not only could you kill yourself, but you could set fire to Earth's atmosphere, and destroy all human life as we know it." Reed explained, which did make Garth feel a bit uneasy inside. "Got it. Sun-temp, bad." Johnny spoke, doing a thumps up with both his foam covered hands.
Next up, it was Ben, who was sitting in a desk while Reed moved what looked like an X-ray in front of his body. "If we're going to identify the source of the mutation, we need to isolate your recombinant DNA, so we can activate positional genomes." Reed spoke, though Garth didn't understand a word of it, and from the looks of it, Ben didn't either. "Huh?" He asked, looking at Sue. "We have to do a physical in there to see what got zapped." Sue explained. "Oh. Why didn't you say so?" Ben asked rhetorically. Then the three of them then stood in front of a computer, Garth behind and in between Sue and Reed, which then showed an green-black image of Ben's inside, and what he saw made his mouth and eyes widen in shock. Ben's oranges were literally solid. Rock solid. He was rock/solid inside out. Yet they were all still working somehow, like his heart, which was still beating, as they could somehow hear. "His internal organs are completely solid." Reed spoke in shock, before they all looked at Ben, who then looked worried. "How bad is it? You know, I used to smoke." He asked with worry. "Uh... uh... your lungs, your heart, your entire body, is stone. Fortunately, everything is still functioning normally somehow." Garth explained. Then, they moved on. Sue tried hitting a reflex hammer against Ben's right knee. "You feel anything?" She asked, trying a few times. "Nope." Ben answered. "We're gonna need a bigger hammer, eh?" Garth said, while staring down at the situation. Reed then went away and a few seconds later, came back with a normal hammer. "Okay." He exhaled, before he struck Ben's knee with the hammer, which made him move his right knee upwards, which caused a chair to be thrown across the room, hitting a map of the world. Then they did an X-ray of Garth's inside, since the equipment was ready and he was there at the moment, and his internal organs were completely healthy and normal, with no change at all. But yet, Garth wasn't entirely sure about that yet.
