The big wedding day...

Everything was almost set. The guests were arrived, the area had been prepared. All that was left was to get the bride and groom ready. In her room, Sue was with Lily (currently wear a white tank top and purple trousers) and Alicia. Garth had sneaked Lily in earlier in the morning, before and avoiding all the press people. Sue was currently standing by the window, watching a news helicopter fly by the building. "This isn't how I imagined it." Sue spoke sadly. "It never is." Alicia replied, doing her earring on the bed. "Yeah." Lily added, standing on the right hand side of the room. "No, Lily, Alicia, it just doesn't feel right." Sue said back. Alicia then stood up and walked over to Sue. "Sweetie... I think even superheroes are allowed to have wedding day jitters." She said to Sue. "I agree." Lily added. "Its more than that. Is my life always gonna be a circus?" Sue asked, turning around to face Alicia. "Do we really want to raise kids in all this? Face it, we're not exactly normal." Sue added, looking away. "That reminds me of why Garth insisted I come in earlier." Ily thought in her head, as she looked at Sue. "Ben and I aren't normal, but we don't let it get in the way of us being happy." Alicia said. "That's kinda why Garth and I keep our relationship as out of the public eye as public. But that doesn't mean we're not happy either." Lily added. "Do you love Reed?" Alicia asked. "More than I've ever loved anyone." Sue responded, looking back at Alicia, who nodded. "Then you have nothing to worry about." She said. "Thank you." Sue said softly as she hugged Alicia, who hugged back. Lily moved over and hugged them in between, resting her head on Sue's back. Then they parted. "Okay." Sue muttered as she walked over to the mirror, Lily standing on Alicia's right, in front of her. "Oh, great." She then spoke in concern. "What?" Alicia asked, moving around to face her in a flash. "Something wrong with your face?" Lily asked. "I've got a zit." Sue answered, Lily seeing it faintly in the mirror from where she was. "Why didn't I see that before?" Lily asked in her head in annoyance. "Can you put makeup on it?" Alicia asked, getting up. "No, no, I've got it." Sue answered. Lily could faintly see Sue using her powers to make it 'disappear', which made Lily grin. "Crisis averted. Now all I have to do I see concentrate on that area continuously for the next 8 hours." Sue said. "For someone like you that should be easy." Lily replied with a chuckle.

Meanwhile, Garth followed Ben (on Ben's left) into the lab, looked rightwards to see Reed, still working on a large white machine. He wore black trousers, black shirt, a white dress shirt, an undone tie dangled from his shoulders, and he held his jacket in his right hand. They both then walked up to the machine, seeing Reed's legs poking out from underneath it. "Reed, come on. Your gonna miss your own wedding." Ben spoke. "Just a minute. Almost done." They heard Reed's voice, coming from above them, so they both looked upwards/leftwards, to see that Reeds upper body was extended to a gap in parts of the machinery. Reed (with a few facial hairs on his face)then moved his upper body back to normal, and got up on his feet, and walked towards a computer. Garth then saw a screen with a feed that showed General Hager on it. "General, I'm putting the sensor online... now." Reed said, typing on the computer, then a second or two later, the lights in a circle below the machine then glowed white, the light going round the circle. "There. If there's a surge in cosmic radiation anywhere on the planet, you'll know about it." Reed explained. "Let's hope so, Richards. We've already gotten reports of two more craters." Hager informed them, which made Reed look at the screen. "Here comes the bride." Ben muttered, as the screen with Hager on it went black. "All right, all right. Just linking it to my PDA." Reed replied, before typing on the computer. "Reed." Ben muttered again, Garth poking/gesturing his left index finger on his lower arm a few times, while Reed worked. "And, uh... that's it." Reed said. "Good, that's great. Now shave and put on your tux. Your getting married now and you look like a bum." Ben said, Garth nodding. "Absolutely." Reed said back as he turned around, but the smile on his face faded, and he look confused and unsure. "What?" Ben asked, but Garth knew what was going on. Pre-wedding jitters. "I'm getting married." Reed chuckled, but his humour quickly disappeared and was replaced by weakness, as he then fell forwards, but Ben quickly catched him, Garth (with wide eyes) moving over and held Reed's right upper arm with his left hand. "Oh, jeez." Ben spoke. The two of them then started moving Reed out of the room, though Ben was doing most of the work, Garth holding or keeping up Reed's right shoulder. "I'm getting married." Reed said again. "I was afraid something like this was gonna happen, eh." Garth said, as he looked to see Reeds right leg was extended in a flimsy way. "I've heard of getting cold feet..." Ben spoke.
