*Ryder's pov*
I woke up feeling like I had hit my head and I sat up slowly and then I had remembered Josh. Was that a dream? I got up off the couch and wandered into the kitchen where I saw Josh sitting with Tony and Ross talking.
"It was real." I thought aloud and Josh walked over to me.
"I need to explain everything to you. I don't expect you to be ok with it, but I hope you can forgive me." Josh said and tried to put his arms around me but I stepped back and then looked at Tony.
"I don't have time for this right now. I have a lot to do before regionals." I said running out of the room.
"Ryder, wait!" I heard Tony say as I bolted out of the front door. I could hear Tony chasing me and the tears in my eyes were starting to blind me. I fell to the ground crying and he finally caught up to me. I just laid there and he lifted my chin.
"Everything's going to be ok Ryder. It's all over now." Tony said as he pulled me close.
"It's never going to be ok. He made us all believe he was dead and now he's come back just to make us feel stupid." I said and Tony shook his head.
"Not at all what he's doing. He was protecting himself and you. He had some people after him and they were going to kill you to make him suffer." Tony explained and I wiped my eyes.
"He should have told me! We could have handled it together!" I said.
"It was safer this way. You are safe as long as he stays in hiding." Tony said as we got up and started walking back. We walked up to the door and I turned back to Tony.
"Why are they after him?" I asked and he shrugged.
"He hasn't said exactly why. I can't imagine what it'd be though. I'm sure he would tell you if you asked." Tony replied as we walked in and saw Josh sitting with Ross at the piano playing a song.
Ross:
Going out tonight
Changes into something red
Her mother doesn't like that kind of dress
Everything she never had she's showing off
Josh:
Driving too fast
Moon is breaking through her hair
She said it was something that she won't forget
Having no regrets is all that she really wants
Together:
We're only getting older baby
And I've been thinking about it lately

Josh:

Doubts are running 'round her head
He's waiting, hides behind a cigarette
Heart is beating loud, she doesn't want it to stop
Ross:
Moving too fast
Moon is lighting up her skin
She's falling, doesn't even know it yet
