*Ryder's pov* *Glee practice*
"Ok, Ryder seeing as everyone knew him we will do this lesson." Mr. Schue said as they walked into the choir room.
"Thanks Mr. Schue you havr no idea how much this means to us." I said before taking my seat.
"Ok guys this week we are doing a tribute to one of our own." Mr. Schue said as he walked toward the white board.
"Please don't tell me we are dedicating a week to Rachael Berry and her Broadway show tunes." Kitty said and Mr. Schue laughed weakly.
"No," he said as he wrote 'Zach' on the board, "this week is about a fallen friend. From what I understand he changed a lot of your lives for the better."
*Tony's pov*
"What the hell is going on?" I asked Ryder glaring at him.
"You want to get all these emotions out right? So you and Ross can fully be together without anything stopping you." Ryder replied.
"Tony, I know it's going to be a rough week especially for you so if you don't want to be here this week I won't make you. This lesson will be a memorial to the life he lived and the people he left behind. So come up with a song that he liked or something that reminds you of him or even just a song that you personally think he'd like if he heard it today. We will start tomarrow." Mr. Schue said and he pulled me aside.
"Tony, look I don't want you to get mad about the lesson this week. We did the same thing for Finn when he passed." Mr. Schue said quietly.
"I'm not mad Mr. Schue I'm just worried about some of the music we are going to hear. Zach was kind of a bully when I met him. I have no idea how he even treated these guys." I replied and rubbed the back of my neck.
*flashback* *freshman year first day of school*
I walked awkwardly to my locker hoping it would open. I saw a lot of people doing the same. I felt like I was in a maze. I made the mistake of looking at the new kid. He pushed my books from my hands and slammed me into the lockers beside me.
"If you ever make eye contact with me again I'll beat you senseless!" He said and all I could do was look into his eyes they were so beautiful and he was really cute too. His chestnut colored hair, he had dark blue eyes that would captivate anyone who looked into them, his smile it was flawless like diamonds. His smile had disappeared by this point though.
"Well, given that we go to school together I'm bound to look into those dark blue eyes again soon so why don't we just do this here and now?" I suggested.
"Are you flirting with me?" He asked.
"That depends on if you like guys." I retorted.
"We can talk about that later when nobody else is around. By the way I'm Zach." He said walking away.
*present day*
"He wasn't bully when he was here. He was actually a very kind person. I'm sure he did more good for these guys than bad." Mr. Schue said and I smiled weakly turning back to Ryder and Ross.
"I need to talk to you guys later." I said and I saw Ross pull out his phone and take my picture.
*Ross pov* *at home 10 PM*
I sit in the bathroom on the floor while Tony showers. I could tell he was shutting down again like he did right after Zach had passed. I think Ryder was wrong about making it better. In fact, I think it's making things worse. He seemed to be making progress and moved past it, but then people had to interrupt his process.
