chapter 28- Leaving Dearies?

*Ross' pov*

The baby has been crying for an hour and I can't figure out why. Neither Tony nor myself could get him to stop. It was a nightmare. I heard the front door open and in walked Ryder, our last hope.

"Ryder, please help? We suck at this new dads thing and I can't stand the headache I'm getting." I begged and Ryder took Zach from my arms and looked at me.

"Has he been fed?" Ryder asked.

"Yes, about an hour ago." Tony replied and Ryder nodded putting Zach on his shoulder patting his back until he burped, and within seconds Zach was calm again.

"We are terrible parents." I said and I sat down next to Tony.

"No, you're not. It takes time to form a bond with a child especially when you guys aren't the birth parents. You will figure out all of his cries." Ryder assured.

"Well it looks like you are bonding a lot faster than either of us are." Tony said putting his face in his hands.

"No I'm just Uncle Ryder who has been babysitting since I was fourteen. I've seen everything and I've been there for a lot of special moments and I'm hoping you will let me start that for your family as well." Ryder replied and Josh came in the front door.

"Ryder, we are leaving tomarrow and you can't talk us into staying. I have my tv show to go do." I said and Ryder smirked.

"That's exactly why Josh & I are taking you up on the offer of going back to Cali with you guys. I mean Josh's family still doesn't know that everything was staged and mine said I could as long as I stay in school." Ryder said and Josh looked at Tony.

"You told me that no matter how screwed up my life gets running wouldn't solve anything. You were wrong, I need to keep my life seperate from my families and I can do so by getting the hell out of here. We can all be a big gay family you guys the loving parents and Ryder and I the uncles who spoil your kid rotten." Josh said and Tony looked at me and I smiled.

"If you can be ready when my jet gets here tomarrow we will take you with us, and you can stay in the guest room at my parents place. I'll let them know and we will have to find a house soon. There's no way my brothers will want to have a screaming baby around all the time. Rydel is another story." I said and Ryder pulled his luggage to the door.

"Already packed, so I will see you guys in the morning." Ryder said handing Zach to Tony who started cooing at him.

*Ryder's pov* *9:30 P.M.*

Josh laid down next to me breathing heavy and I looked at him with a big smile. He ran his hand through my already messed up hair and smiled.

"You look like that wore you out." I said and Josh nodded.

"Well, yeah you aren't exactly easy to please. Of course it wore me out." Josh replied as I snuggled up to him.

"Nobody ever said I was easy. Have you told them yet? Who the baby is and why you wanted to go with so badly?" I asked and Josh shook his head.

"No, I have no intentions of doing so. It'd make everything hard for all of us. I can't be a big brother, I'm not exactly a good rolemodel." Josh replied looking into my eyes.

"Who says he would have to know about your mistakes?" I questioned.

"He'd find out eventually and when he is old enough he'd find out and hate me." Josh said and we both drifted off to sleep.

*Ross pov* *next morning 5:45 A.M.*

Like clockwork Zach woke up screaming and I felt Tony jump out of bed and go to him. I opened my eyes and looked at him. It helped that his name was Zach, it just meant that he meant a lot to Tony and when he cried it killed Tony a little bit on the inside.

"You know this is the best thing to wake up to." I said and he turned to me laying Zach on the bed grabbing wipes and a clean diaper.

"I'm sure you love it." He replied as he changed the diaper.

"Well, I'm going to go wake up Ryder and Josh. We all need to be ready to leave soon." I said and I went across the hall knocking briefly before opening the door.

"Hey you two, it's time to get up." I said and Ryder looked at me sitting up and threw the blanket off without thinking.

"That's way more of you than I needed to see." I said as I walked out and back to the other room.

"Are they up?" Tony asked and I smirked.

"Yeah, Ryder's up and by up I mean he was naked and his body seemed pretty awake." I laughed.

"The thought of him naked is weird to me." Tony replied and sat in the chair to feed Zach.

"I'm going to take our bags to the car and then I'll try to find a way to get Ryder's naked body out of my mind without ripping my eyes out." I said.

*Tony's pov* * 20 minutes later*

We approached the plane and we were greeted by an older man with a cane. He seemed in a rush even though he had a limp.

"The name's Mr. Gold, and I will be of service to you today on your flight. Anything you need just ask and I will be happy to assist." He said as we boarded the plane.

"Thanks Mr. Gold but we should be fine. Just relax and enjoy the flight with us." Ross said as I looked at the man as he walked away something was really strange about him.

"Hey Tony, what's wrong?" Ryder asked.

"Nothing that guy just looks very familiar and the way he keeps calling us "dearies" kind of freaks me out." I replied and Ross sat the baby down and walked over to me rubbing the back of my head.

"It will be fine Tony just sit down and relax." Ross said before kissing me softly.

*Mr. Gold's pov*

I dailed Regina's number and hoped I had gotten the right people on the plane to Storybrooke. I didn't have any powers outside of the town but it was a risk I had to take the whole fairytale race was in great danger. There was no time to waste.

"I have the four boys and a small child on the plane we will be taking off shortly." I said.

"Let's hope they are the ones who can get us out of this mess because since we had to lock up Emma there's nobody to help us fight the evil lurking around." Regina replied and I ended the callwalking back out to see that there was nobody on the plane anymore.

I started to panic as I looked out the window and watched them board their real flight home. I had to follow them I needed them to save the town I called home.
