*Tony's pov*
"Good evening, and welcome to the 2014 Show Choir sectionals!" Boomed the announcer as I called Ross yet again.
"Ryder, I'm getting worried I haven't heard from Ross in three days!" I panicked as I hung up my phone.
"Tony, calm down, he's fine. He's a busy guy." Ryder responded fixing his tie.
"Ryder, he doesn't just fall off the grid like this. I think something is seriously wrong." I looked over and Mr. Schue was walking up.
"Alright guys show circle!" Mr. Schue announced and we all gathered in a circle.
"Ross, is fine." Ryder whispered.
"Ok guys, I'm proud of how far you have come and I couldn't ask for a better team. You guys go out there and give it your best and I'll be proud no matter what the outcome is. Ok on three!" Mr. Schue said and we all put our hands in and smiled.
"Amazing!" We shouted and we heard our introduction.
"Tony, you're up!" Mr. Schue said.
I walked out onto the stage ant the curtain lifted. I heard slight applause as the band started to play and I was finally getting the chance to see through Ross' eyes.
Tony:
Some people watch
Some people pray
But even lights can fade away.
Some people hope
Some people pay
But why'd we have to stay?
Ross:
'Cause even heroes
Get the blues
Or any misery you choose
You like to watch
We like to use
And we were born to lose
I froze when I heard Ross singing and walking through the audience. He had made it here in time for sectionals.
Tony:
I choose defeat
I walk away
And leave this place
The same today
Some like to sleep
