Dylan's POV
It's been a couple weeks since Jeanie and I have moved in with her parents and sister. It's been an interesting couple weeks. That's the exact word I'll use to describe it interesting watching how the family interact especially Jeanie and Izzy who bump head constantly but it was so flip-flop mood swings these two have.
Example would be last week the two were arguing led to shouting which led to a food fight in the kitchen then their father walked in, you'd think it would stop there but nope as he joined in flinging food at Izzy but the fear was when Diane walked in seeing her kitchen looking like a war zone as she turned to look at the three, James and Jeanie pointing fingers at Izzy throwing her right under the bus I just laughed as James through his youngest daughter into the flames like that. her father was really cool and acted like a child at some points, you can see how close he was with his kids hope to be like myself one day.
Izzy got him back the next day by sticking two spiders in his shower, the man really does have a fear for them as he screamed made his wife go and kill them. As for Jeanie, Izzy didn't have a revenge scheme, both of them acted like nothing happened next day.
I picked up on that pretty quick they fought like they were going to tear each other apart then the next minute they were singing country music on the top of their lungs which was a lot. it was funny cute watching the girls interact like that true sisters made me miss my own from time to time of course Izzy never left me out of her tack ticks she picked on me too, that girl always kept you on your toes.
I could tell Jeanie was more relaxed being home with her family espically right now so close toward having Mason which made a me happy seeing her happy, with that being said we had appointment each week checking on the baby she'd always leave mimicking the doctor as she always repeated to us 'any day now' which annoyed her I laughed at her grumpiness being eight months she was tired, cranky, some sleepless night which always made me feel bad as she could never find a comfortable position to sleep shed toss and turn, her moods swings she'd get cranky I'd try my best not to laugh cause her grumpy was like a two year being mad which was cute then she's pout the days she caught me so I'd laugh a bit making her more mad.
I'm glad she gets this time with her family, I know it will be hard when we leave move all the way to California away from her parents but I know she's also happy to see her brother and everyone else she left back there. I was happy too California is home it was great being in Alanta but so excited to go back see friends, my parents I'm tad bit nervous to see them since they'll be meeting their grandson but have faith it will all go well my parents love Jeanie. Of course they were disappointed for some time in me getting a girl pregnant at such a young age can't blame them for being upset but they came to terms with it, my sister has been excited from the begining she says Jeanie is the best girlfriend I've ever had she always says if I mess this up they'll keep Jeanie in the family and I'm booted out.... family right? glad to have them.
"any day now, lord I'd pay not to hear those words again" Jeanie whined as we sat in the car leaving yet again another appointment.
"she sounds like a broken record" she said
"hey J" I said looking at her then back at the road
"yes?"
"any day now" I mimicked the doctor laughing
"not funny Dylan" she pouted, I can never resist the pout
"i thought it was" I told her
"you know I'm pregnant not disabled, I still have a couple pranks I could pull that you won't like" she said you could hear how annoyed she was in the tone she used but I kept smiling
