I am the biological daughter of Cate Blanchett and Sandra Bullock. Sometimes people find this hard to believe but its very true. Often people say I am a lot like them. Kind, accepting and it also helps that I'm a gay too. They have always been so supportive of my ventures in life. One of my passions is acting. It just feels great to be someone else for a while, to really delve into someone else's life and create it, exploring each avenue. My moms would always come and watch me if I was in a show at the theatre or even just a school production.
Recently I had been selected to be part of our local theatres production of six the musical. I was selected to play the role of Catherine Parr. I had been on stage all week and they had come to every show from opening night to tonight, the last show. Before I went on stage I always felt nervous no matter how many times I had done the act or rehearsed it. May people just assumed I would be fine as both my moms are actors, but as I kept saying just because they are celebrities doesn't mean they don't have emotions.
Anyway, it was my last show of Six the Musical and we had performed all night singing our hearts out for the audience. Before I had gone on I began to feel a little dizzy and nervous as I stood up. I have an iron deficiency which sometimes make me feel this way. I took my medication trying to ignore the way I felt just playing it off thinking it was due to this but little did I know but it wasn't. I went on stage at my queue and preformed all night. I couldn't quite shake the feeling I had. It was like my anxiety was all over the place. Yes I had an anxiety disorder but I thought it was under control. It must be all the stress from the entire week. The tiredness couldn't have helped either. At the final song we took a bow and the curtain fell. I hurried backstage got changed and then was greeted by my moms.
Cates POV
We went backstage to find y/n so we could all go home together. I was really proud of her and her performance all week. I knew how tiring it could be and how much energy you need to preform all week but somehow she did it. When she came out of her dressing room with she had her hair Dutch braided and her stage makeup was still on. She looked very pale and tired.
Sandy: "Hey baby girl you did great!"
Cate: "Were so proud of you darling!"
Y/n: "I love you guys." She gave us a little bow.
I couldn't help but feel a bit concerned as she looked a little unsteady on her feet and extremely pale. Sandy noticed too chiming in...
Sandy: "sweetie are you feeling alright? You look very pale darling and you seem a little wobbly."
Cate: "Did you take you iron tablets?"
Y/n: "Yes I took them before going on. I felt a bit dizzy earlier and more anxious than usual but I think I'm okay, probably just tired."
Sandy: " Okay honey if you say so."
Cate: "Lets get you home."
Sandy POV
I couldn't help but feel something was wrong with y/n. So I decided to take her home as soon as possible so she could have a shower and put her feet up after a long week.
We rushed to the car y/n dragging her suitcase and carrying her backpack past the fans. We all got in the car and began to drive home. As we pulled up to our house the paparazzi swarmed our car. They were trying to get photos of y/n as we got out as she was following in our footsteps and they wanted to be the first to know about any developments. Y/n looked really overwhelmed and so I grabbed her bags and got her inside. Shutting the door I looked at y/n who now had a glazed expression on her face and was breathing heavily.
Y/ns POV
We pulled up at the house and the paparazzi were there wanting photos of me as I was following my parents into the world of acting. Really for me it was always a passion so I never thought about it this way, but they always just wanted a new story, that's what the paparazzi do. We got in the house and I felt so overwhelmed by the whole situation. I began to feel really dizzy, the room was spinning and my vision started to go. That's when I heard my moms shout and it all went black.
Cates POV
I had just gone into the living room and I heard Sandy shout from the hallway. I ran through to see y/n faint. Sandy managed to catch her before she hit her head. She was now lay out across the floor, still breathing but unconscious. Sandy looked terrified. We moved y/n to the living room laying her on the couch with her legs elevated. I placed a cold cloth over her forehead and Sandy held her hand as she began to stir and come around. Y/n tried to get up but couldn't. Once she had regained consciousness we explained to her what had happened and after a quick call to our family doctor the doctor said it was likely due to stress. This was called a Vasovagal syncope which literally just meant she fainted from stress. Y/n was understandably overwhelmed as she was tired, she had been performing all week, she had been in school and now the paparazzi were here.
Y/N POV
As I came around I was really confused but my moms explained to me what had happened. I then got changed into my pyjamas and went back downstairs. My moms had ordered us a McDonalds which we only get as a treat and then we all snuggled and watched the television together. I got a text from my auntie's Sar and Holland to say they were proud of me and that the show was very good. I felt to so loved right now I cuddled up with my two favourite people, my number one supporters and I began to close my eyes to sleep. I was exhausted.
Sandy POV
After y/n ate her food she snuggled into me and Cate. Minutes later we heard soft snores as she dozed off to sleep. Our daughter was so precious. Cate and I both placed soft kisses on her forehead as she nodded off. "I love you my big girl. Me and your mom are very proud of you." Cate simply smiled and agreed. "We raised her well."
