Oceans 8 Ladies x Reader (School Stress)

Y/n POV

It had been such as long day and I was just getting home from school. The bus dropped me off outside the loft so I went inside. Nobody was home yet so I had the house to myself. I went upstairs to my room and decided to study for my up and coming exams. I'm so stressed and anxious over my exams that I can't even find the motivation to revise, but I know I have to force myself to study...starting with English.

I grab my Macbeth transcript and begin to annotate the quotes. Eventually I was so emersed in my revision I didn't hear the door open and everyone come home with pizza. They knew I was home so they had started calling my downstairs, but got no response.

Lou POV

As we came in the house, I could see y/ns school bag and shoes at the door. I decided to call for her as we had brought pizza home for dinner but I got no response. I went up stairs to her room, opening the door to see her in a trance, furiously annotating a text. She must have been revising for her exams. I could see how stressed she was so I shook her slightly pulling her focus back to me.

Lou: "Hey we have pizza downstairs for you kiddo, come and eat with us." y/n just grunted and shook her head. "Honey, you have to eat its so important."

Y/n: "But I have so much work to do, I can't get it all done in time." Y/n started to ramble getting more and more panicked so I picked her up, carrying her downstairs to the sofa, handed her a drink and grabbed her some pizza whilst all the others chatted.

She began to talk with everyone else eventually which helped her to calm down. After a little while she snuggled into Debbie and I on the sofa and fell asleep. We decided to let her sleep instead of trying to move her to her bed. We grabbed a blanket and cuddled with her on the sofa until we all fell asleep and the others went to bed. She must have been exhausted from all of her studying.
