Its summer vacation, all the kids are rushing out of school and headed towards the creek. The creek is a place where kids play and be who they want to be. Kit was setting up her Trading Tree stand and putting her snacks and toys together. Omar walks by the Overpass with a smile on his face. The Tea Timers were enjoying their tea. The Junk Lord is having fun with his junk at the junkyard. Paintball Mike is shooting paintball at his brother Benny. Beth the Timekeeper is reading her magazine while keeping tabs on the time and Bobby eating his candy as usual. While Jason was playing tag with his Junior Forest Scouts and the Muddy Buddies, he notices construction workers demolishing a tree from the other side of creek.
Kelsey goes by J.P. house to get him.
"JP, hurry up! We gotta get to the creek before the new chocolate mint rolls are gone." Kelsey yelled.
"I'm coming. I just had to find something to trade for. He, Kelsey, do you think Kit will let me trade for my old basketball?" J.P. said as he showed Kelsey his flat basketball.
"Yeah. She might even give you a discount." Kelsey said.
"See it still bounce good." JP said while bouncing the flat basketball.
At Craig house, he was in the basement looking for something for something he need.
"It's gotta be around here somewhere." Craig said while looking in his father's boxes.
"What are you looking for, Craig?" Jessica asked.
"I'm looking for something that is very useful for the trading tree. I gotta find it so I can get a trade for those new mint chocolate roll. Ah ha! Here it is." Craig said as he find the device.
"What is it?" Jessica asked.
"I don't know, but dad use to play with it a long time ago. I wonder if it still works. What does this button do?" Craig said as pressed the button on the device.
It made a whirring sound and Craig speaks to it."Hello?" Craig said as he sounds like Duane on the device.
"Whoa. You sound just like dad." Jessica said.
"Jessica, I think I know what this thing is. It's a voice changer. I can sound just like anybody I want." Craig said.
"Oh. I wanna try it. I can sound like mom and order a lot of triple decker fudge brownies, strawberry shortcake and macaroons. Mom never lets me have that much sweets. That my only rebellion wish list." Jessica said.
"Sorry, Jessica. I gotta trade this for the Trading Tree, but first maybe I could have a little fun with it." Craig said.
He was about to use the device to prank on his older brother, Bernard.
He called his brother's phone and pretends to sound like dad."Ahh the summer reading list. What's the first thing on the list." Bernard said while about to read.
His phone rings.
"Hello?" Bernard said while answering the phone.
"Bernard, this is your dad speaking. I found that scratch you left behind the bumper." Craig said while using Duane voice.
"Uh... Dad... I can't explain. Oh, please dad! Don't take away my driving privileges away again! I'll do anything. I'll use my money I've been saving up for my college. Just please don't take my driving privileges. Me and Alexis have plans this summer." Bernard weeps until he gets a real phone call from his dad. He answered it and said, "Hello, dad." Then he realize that Craig has been prank calling him.
Bernard went into Craig rooms and saw him on the phone with his dad's device. Craig turns and saw Bernard with his arms fold with a mean mug on his face.
"Why, Bernard, my boy. How are you?" Craig said nervously with Duane voice.
The two sat at the dinner table.
"Why do you do this to me, Craig? Do you enjoy tormenting me? Do you hate me?" Bernard said.
"On the contrary, Bernard. I've got the utmost respect for my older sibling." Craig said.
"Don't be smart with me, little bro. Ever since the day you been born you've been pushing me, testing me." Bernard said while he got up.
"Testing you? I don't know what you mean, Bernard." Craig said.
"Oh really? How about the time you and your friends came at my job and start bossing me around?" Bernard said.
"It was for revenge when you mess up the bathroom that I was cleaning. Beside it was an all you can eat special." Craig said.
"Well, how about the time you spill cola on the seat of the van then blame it on me and got my driving privileges taking away for two months?" Bernard said.
"I had to cover for Jessica. Although, I'm her favorite older brother." Craig said.
"Oh Craig! I had enough of your childish pranks. You really need to grow up." Bernard said.
"I'm only 9, Bernard. I won't be a grown up. In about twelve years. I thought you was the smart one." Craig said as Bernard face turn red and steam came out of his head.
The doorbell rang.
"Craig! We're here!" J.P. yelled outside.
"Well, gotta go to the creek. See you at dinnertime, Bernard." Craig said as he left for the creek.
"I hope you get lost on your way home! I can't wait till I graduate. Hello? Oh hi Alexis." Bernard said as his phone rang again.
"Um... Bernard. We need to talk." Alexis said on the phone.
Craig, Kelsey and J.P. walked to the creek.
"Summer Vacation. Two months at the creek, going to beach and teepee the golf course." Craig said.
"Craig, can you tell J.P. that his ball is flat?" Kelsey said.
"Yeah, Kelsey right, J.P. your ball is flat." Craig said while bouncing it.
"Thats what I've been trying to tell him." Kelsey said.
"Its not flat. It's just a little low on air. I lost my airpump." J.P. said while grab his ball from Craig. He bounce it but it pop from a pointed rock.
"Like we said, your ball is flat." Craig said.
"I can't believe I got beaten at dodge ball from those fifth graders. On the last day of school. If only they let me take my sword with me at school." Kelsey said.
"Well the important thing is you try your ---" Craig said while walking in the creek.
"The important thing is, I got my bums whooped." Kelsey said.
"Come on, Kelsey. Atleast you had fun. I'm pretty sure you almost beat them." Craig said.
"Why do you do that, Craig? Why do you always have to look on the brightside all the time?" Kelsey said.
"Somebody has to." Craig said as the three of the kids arrived at their stump.
"Yeah. That's what I'm talking about, Craig. That's why we're friends with him, Kelsey. Kelsey?" J.P. said.
"Hey guys! Look behind here. It's a craving." Kelsey said while looking at the carving behind the stump that has a heart with two letters "B" and a "A".
"Hmm a 'B' and 'A'. I wonder who that can be." J.P. said.
"J.P. it's a heart carving. B and A are two people who are in love. So romantic." Kelsey said.
"You guys realize that been there the whole time ever since we first came to the creek." Craig said.
"I never notice it before." J.P. said.
"Neither did I." Kelsey saisaid.
"Well I have." Craig said.
Suddenly, two helicopters flew pass over them.
"You don't see that everyday." J.P. said.
Then all the kids of the creek start running to the same direction.
"Guys you don't think..." Craig said.
"The New Mint Choco Rolls!" They all said as they rushed to the Trading Tree.
