Where I Belong (Star Wars: The Bad Batch)

Saleucami

The Marauder flys down into the planet of Saleucami & lands on a grassy field in front of a homestead.
You & the group walk out of the Marauder & are greeted by Cut Lawquane, who was a friend to Rex, The Bad Batch, & now you & Omega.

"Hey, guys. Haven't seen you in..." Cut stops as you walk past Cut & walk towards their farm. "Everything alright? Where is Crosshair? Shouldn't he be with you guys?" Cut asks. "It's complicated at the moment... Do you think we can hide out here for a few days?" Hunter asks. "Stay as long as you need fellas." Cut says as he walks back over to his farm & The Bad Batch & Omega follow.
Cut enters his home & sits down at the table. His kids playing outside & his wife growing crops. "So, what's with the girls?" Cut asks. "She's Omega, the other is Y/N. Y/N is having a hard time right now." Hunter says. "I can tell. So what really happened Hunter?" Cut asks. "Cross chose his side. Y/N isn't too happy about his choice." Hunter says. "He didn't make a choice, Hunter. His chip forced him to make that choice." You say coming downstairs. "The chip? What does that have to do with all this?" Cut asks. "The Kaminoans put chips in all the clones. Forcing them to make choices they either want to or not." Omega says. "We'll aren't you smart." Cut says as Omega smiles. "Red passed by not too long ago. He mentioned the chip but never really told me what that was all about." Cut says as Echo looks up at Cut. "You met with Rex? Where'd he go?" Echo asks. "I'm not sure. He didn't say. Well... Stay as long as you like brothers." Cut says as he walks off & The Bad Batch go outside of Cut's home & walks up towards the village with Omega showing her around in different outfits so they don't get caught easily.

You walk back upstairs with Cut & go into a room to sit outside Cut's home looking up at the stars from the window.
You wipe a tear away & stand up & begin to walk away. Cut saw you & stopped to talk to you. "You are going to go back, aren't you?" Cut asks as you stop & face Cut. "I have to, Cut. He's still in there. I saw it in his eyes. & I'm worried if we wait any longer, he might be gone for good." You say. "You have to trust Hunter. He will make it right. He always has." Cut replies. "I can't wait for Hunter on this one & I know you are going to tell him that I left. But I have to get Cross back. He would do it for me." You say. "I know there is nothing I can say that will stop you...Heh, but you owe me for this, Y/N." Cut says as you hug him. "Thank you, Cut. & don't worry. I'll be fine." You say as you wave goodbye to Cut & his family & begin to walk toward the Marauder.

When you left the farm The Bad Batch were still off exploring the planet with Omega so they didn't know what you were up to.
You walk onto the Marauder & take off back towards Kamino to save Crosshair.
In the air, you look down at Saleucami one last time. "I'm sorry guys, I have to do this." You say to yourself as you jump the Marauder to hyperspace.

You knew how to fly a long time ago before you began working on Kamino. You were taught by a few people in your village because they knew what you would be getting yourself into & they knew that you needed to learn how to fly so if something ever went wrong, you could get away or help.

As the Marauder flys smoothly through hyperspace you put the ship in auto pilot & walk towards the back of the ship to find a crate leaning up against the wall.
You pull it out & drop it on the floor & unlock the crate.
After you opened it you looked inside to find nothing but a space that could hold a large enough rifle. Then you thought about Crosshair's sniper & how long it was.
This was Crosshair's weapon kit he left behind on the ship.

You shut the crate & put it back up against the wall it was leaning on & went over to what you thought was another crate but was a droid.
A gonk droid.

The gonk droid turned on & you were surprised to see that it was functioning well.
"Hi there, I'm Y/N. I'm gonna call you Gonky the gonk droid." You say as Gonky beeps happily & you tap him & walk back towards the front of the ship to look up at the controls & close your eyes.

Back on Saleucami The Bad Batch & Omega return to the farmstead.
Omega runs off to play with Cut's kids while The Bad Batch walked inside looking for you.
After searching for you Hunter came up to Cut & asked where you might have gone.
"Where's Y/N? I thought she was with you? Where'd she go?" Hunter asks worriedly. "Hunter, your not gonna like what I'm about to tell you, but you need to hear it." Cut says. "What'd she do?" Hunter asks crossing his arms.
"She took the Marauder, your ship, & returned to Kamino to save your brother, Crosshair." Cut says as Hunter sighs. "I can't believe you just let her walk away." Hunter replies. "Hunter, you know her just as well as I do. Once they get their minds on something, there is no stopping them." Cut says as Hunter shares a mean look with Cut. "Hunter, I have located Y/N. The Marauder tracker indicated that she landed on Kamino just a short while ago." Tech says. "She's going to get herself killed. We have to go back for her." Hunter says. "Allow me to point out the major setback, we don't have a ship. How are we supposed to get to Kamino?" Echo asks. "Perhaps we could take one from the shipyard that I saw when we flew in & when we were exploring with Omega." Tech says adjusting his goggles. "That yard is currently under the control of the empire, it would attract too much attention." Cut says. "We don't have any other choice." Hunter replies. "You do though, Hunter... Let Y/N bring Crosshair back. I'm not sure if you've figured it out yet but Y/N has a certain bond with Crosshair that none of you do, & I know that you all somewhat know that. You have to trust her Hunter, she'll do the right thing & bring him back. Have patience." Cut says as he walks off Hunter watching him & then turning back to watch Omega play with Cut's kids.
