Where I Belong (Star Wars: The Bad Batch)

"Where's Omega?!"

As the strange figure steps into the light you share an angry expression in with the person who was Fennec Shand.
"Don't come any closer... Drop your weapon, & let's make things easy." You order as Fennec bends down to set her weapon on the ground & stand herself back up.
"Now, where's Omega?!" You ask strictly. "She's safe. Your Sergeant is gone, & so you come in taking his place? Why bother. Your not strong enough, your too weak. You'll never be like your fallen Sergeant." Fennec says as you get mad & get closer to her until you are face to face with Fennec.
"Don't try threatening me, or I'll theatern you." You say your blaster raised up to her chest. "Now, lead us to Omega, or this bullet goes straight through you." You say as Fennec looks at Y/N & then other troops of hers come over. "Cuff them up, take them to the kid." Fennec orders as you lower your weapon & back off as you were placed in cuffs along with the others, including Crosshair who jumped down from his high area & was placed in cuffs.

"Don't try to wiggle yourself out of those cuffs young one, things could go very similar to what happened last time." Fennec says as you stop trying to break yourself free & follow Fennec until she sends you & the team into a cell where you all found Omega huddled in the corner, her head on her knees. "Y/N... Tell her what happened... She deserves to know." Echo says as you approach Omega taking off Hunter's bandana & placing your hand on Omegas shoulder.
Omega pricks up & hugs you immediately as a single tear rolls down Omegas & your face.
"You came back for me..." Omega says tiredly. "My dear Omega... I'm sorry you were taken, I should have listened to Hunter..." You say. "Wait, where is Hunter?" Omega asks as she sees tears rolling down your face. "Y/N, what happened to him?" Omega asks worried. "Omega... After you were taken a fight happened, I was injured &... & Hunter... He... Didn't make it... I'm sorry Omega, I knew how much he meant to you..." You say as tears roll down your face & Omega begins tearing up. "Hunter's gone..." Omega says & continues to repeat it as she cries with you.

Later, Omega & you dry your tears & hug each other. "Hunter gave me this as soon as he passed." You say showing Omega his bandana. You hand it to Omega & Omega puts it up to her heart as you did on the Marauder. "What about his helmet?" Omega asks sniffling. "It's on the Marauder." You say as Omega rubs her nose.
Omega hands you back Hunter's bandana & you put it back on. "Are you at least ok Omega?" You ask as Omega shows you a scar that ran across her arm. "Only a couple brusies & a scar or two. I'm just glad your here, alive, with the last of our remaining team." Omega says as you acknowledge her by nodding.

Fennec comes over along with the other bounty hunter, Boba, & he looks at you all, bruised & hurt. "Why come all the way back here after what just occurred." Boba asks. "We needed Omega back, & we are willing to do whatever to keep Omega safe & out of harms way." You say. "You, taking over the Sergeants place already, how foolish of you." Boba says as you approach the gate getting yourself closer to him. "Don't you dare mention him... He is gone, I am taking his place because I am willing to do whatever to keep my team safe." You say. "Strong words from a young one." Boba says. "I, am not, young." You say back.
"Sir, what should we do with them," Fennec asks. "Throw them in the sarlack pit, let them go through what I have..." Boba says as you look over at Wrecker & nod at him ordering him to bash down the gate & let you all escape & battle the bounty hunters & their fleet.
Boba & Fennec attacked fast & did it swiftly, you avoided getting hit by their blaster fire & eventually, Boba & Fennec were knocked unconscious & their fleet was gone. "Ha Ha! We did it!" Wrecker says happily, you smile back at him & look at Omega who came up beside you. "We're safe Omega, & so are you. Now come on, let's get out of here before they wake up!" You order as the team runs back out to the speeder's, hops on, & takes them back to the city of Mos Eisley where the Marauder was parked in one of the hangars.
When you get back into the hangar you all board as quick as possible & Tech fires up the engines & takes off leaving Tatooine for good this time.

"Finally, we did it." You say as Cross comes up to you & hugs you. "Nice work back their, we could've done anything without you." Cross says as you smile. Crosshair does a light whistle to you as he heads towards the back of the Marauder & you whistle back, following him to the back.
When you & Cross get to the back of the Marauder you see Omega huddled up by the window. "Cross, can you give me a minute." You say as Crosshair acknowledges you & gives you time with Omega.

Omega has gone through a lot lately, probably even more than you, left Kamino, hunted by Kaminonans, bounty hunter's, etc... & Now, she's lost Hunter. Someone that really meant something to her.
"Omega..." You say walking up to her & sitting down beside her. Omega had Hunter's helmet in her hands & she was tearing up. "I can't believe he's gone... He hasn't even been around us a lot because he's to busy commanding the team & working as a Sergeant... I just wish I had more time with him, I'm sure you wish you did too..." Omega says as you whip away her tears. "Yeah, I wish that too. But, Omega... You gotta take risks to save someone you love. Hunter sacrificed his life to save you. Omega, he fought, & continued fighting because he wanted you safe... Omega, he truly cared about you... & Me, & the whole team." You say as Omega looks at you & rests her head on your shoulder. "We're free now Omega... We back to where we left off after our situation with the Empire & that stupid Adrimal, Rampart." You finish as Omega chuckles a little & looks out the window with you looking out as well seeing that the Marauder was jumping into hyperspace.
