A World Between World's

"Y/N?" Omega asks, her hand wrapped around yours.
"She's gone... Omega, she's gone..." Tech says coming up behind her, placing his hands on her shoulders.

When you awoke, you looked around knowing you were in heaven, but it was different. You knew you were gone but you still felt alive inside of yourself.
You got up to your feet & walked across a strange board walk, the area around you in the complete darkness & white lights running around the area.
"What is this place?" You ask yourself.
After saying that, your voice echoed through the area. You looked around, seeing no one. So, you continued on your path.

When you come to a dead end, you stand there, facing a mirror with foxes running around it.
Suddenly the mirror lights up & shows you the team at that time & moment.
"Cross? Omega? Cross! Guys! I'm here!" You say calling out to them but they don't hear you. It's just silent.
"Guys can you..." You say suddenly turning around after feeling a hand touch your shoulder.

After quickly turning around you gasp, shocked.

Hunter

He looked alive to you, & he was standing right in front of you.

You quickly hugged Hunter, him wrapping his arms around the back of your waist when hugging you.
"Hunter? How are alive?! You died?" You ask. "So did you, Y/N." Hunter says. "Wait then why do we look so alive here? Where are we?" You ask. "I don't think we'll ever find an answer to that question we both have." Hunter says.
"Do you at least know about these mirrors?" You ask. "Somewhat... They show you good & bad memories... Past, present, future events. They also show you other things." Hunter says. "That's so strange." You say & suddenly someone else chimes in.

Hunter grabs his knife, ready to strike, & you grab your blaster surprised that both of you had weapons where you were.
"Who are you?" You ask. "I'm someone you might call the last of my kind." The woman says. Stepping closer to them you & Hunter see that she was a twelik with blue & white strips along her long hair. "What your seeing, & dealing with is strange, but I've been here long enough to understand it... Ahsoka Tano. Once a Jedi Padawan until I left, came back... Witnessed what I hope you all know as Order 66, excute all remaining Jedi? & Then dealing with things outside of being, or used to being a Jedi. " Ahsoka says as Hunter looks at you, you look right back. "Yes, we know about the Order." Hunter says. "Did you... Excute the Jedi? Followed your orders?" Ahsoka asks. "No, we're defective clones. We do have chips, but they haven't activated. & At the moment we don't have them. We removed ours. Captain Rex, he warned us about the chips. We were all ticking time bombs just waiting to explode. Only ever once have one of our chips activated, & that was for Crosshair, one of our many brothers." Hunter says. "I've heard about the chips, & I know Rex as much as you all do, maybe more... You see, as a Jedi, I fought alongside General Anakin Skywalker, & General Obi-Wan Kenobi. Captain Rex was Anakin's partner, Cody, was Obi-Wans. Just to see him now would excite me, whether it's both, or just one of them." Ahsoka says sighing. "Ahsoka, we've met Rex, but not once did he mention you. He keeps saying that he's on mission, but he never said was the mission was about. Is it possible he's looking for you?" You ask. "There is no way to know what mission's he goes on over the galaxy are all about, what I do know, is that's he's a good friend, & a great captain of what used to be the Galactic Republic, but now that's all changed." Ahsoka says. "Yeah, we know." You reply.
"Do you know if their is anyway out of this place?" Hunter asks. "The world between worlds? I'm where you two are. I have no clue how I ended up here or how to get out. It seems though, when someone dies & has a connection with the force or something else powerful, they end up here. To relive their memories, good & bad." Ahsoka says. "The world between worlds? That's new." You say. "Yes, it's new to all of us. So, who are you two? You never mentioned your names." Ahsoka asks as you look at Hunter, he looks back at you.
"I'm Y/N & this is Hunter, once the Sergeant, then he died. Then I took his place, & ended up dying." You say. "Interesting..." Ahsoka says. "Ahsoka, if you're here. How were you killed?" You ask as Ahsoka sighs. "In a Jedi fight. Fighting someone I used to know, who had turned to the dark side. He was to powerful, so much hate, anger..." Ahsoka says. "Who was he?" You ask. "Well, he was my former master from the beginning, Anakin..." Ahsoka says. "I'm sorry. We both were killed the same way except no Jedi business." You say as Ahsoka nods.
"Well, I'll see you both around." Ahsoka says walking off.

After Ahsoka leaves you look at Hunter & walked with him up to a mirror where it showed the team all processing your own death. "I've never seen them this way. Crosshair is the one that surprises the most, but not really because it's more about you than anyone else." Hunter says. "I really thought Crosshair only cared about himself but I was wrong when I met him. It's like something in his mind was telling him something..." You say. "I don't know." Hunter says as you sigh & walk off, Hunter stayed back, & watched you walk away to another mirror. "Show what would've happened if I was still with my team." You say softly & the mirror glows brightly.

When it became clear you looked around the mirrors view of what you were seeing & saw the whole team around you wounded, & dying.
You closed your eyes & kept them shut until the mirror image was gone.
In those moments, Hunter ran over to you & hugged you. "Y/N, your fine. They'll be safe, even without a Sergeant or a Captain, or even Commander, they'll be fine on their own." Hunter says as you cry, hugging Hunter. "There's nothing left that we can do, the team is probably thinking the same thing right now & that's just ok. Sometimes you think you know what your doing & sometimes you don't. In the end, everything ends up being fine & ok." Hunter says as you sigh through your tears, continuing to hug Hunter.
