Where I Belong (Star Wars: The Bad Batch)

Alpha

"We are entering Tatooine's atmosphere." Tech says as the Y/N & the team hold on.
"As soon as the Marauder touches the ground & lands at the spaceport on Mos Eisley they get themselves unbuckled & exit the Marauder running into a fellow worker in the hangar with droids.
"Patch up the ship will ya, stupid droids." The female worker says. "Where are you all coming from? What brings you here?" The woman asks. "You don't wanna know. We're here in look of someone." Hunter says passing the woman a few credits.
"Hey, maybe I can help you all out, who you looking for?" The woman asks as Hunter turns around to look at her. "Give me a second." Hunter says to his team as he enters a small compacted room with a old designed computer.

"His codename is Alpha, refers himself as Boba," Hunter says as the woman types up his name & he shows up. "Well, looks like you'll all be able to find him here. At Jabbas Palace. Take my speeders, you better be paying me extra later for this & the speeder's." The woman says. "Ya heh. Thanks..." Hunter says as he gets back with his team & goes in search of the speeder's she offered them.

Back at the hangar the woman calls over her comms. "They're here, & they have the girl." The woman says as the person on the other line replies. "Good, send them to Jabbas Palace we'll meet them their." A woman on the other line replies.

"Hunter, where are we going, why are we here anyways?" Omega asks. "I'll tell you later, here. Hop on, Cross, Y/N, Tech, you ride together on one, the rest of us find a speeder & hop on. "What are our coordinates Sergeant?" Omega asks hoping onto a speeder with Wrecker & Echo.
Hunter smiles & types in the coordinates on one of the speeder's making it transfer to the rest. "All of us, follow these coordinates, this is our destination." Hunter says as he gets on a speeder & takes the lead as the team follows close behind.
"Something about all this doesn't seem right to me. I feel like we're being pulled into a trap." You say. "I'm agreeing with you Y/N, something is not right about this plan or area at all." Cross replies to Y/N.

When the team arrives at the Palace they set the speeder's by the side of the Palace & walk up to the door.
A small spherecal droid head pops up saying, "Who are you all?" "Clone Force 99 we call ourselves The Bad Batch. I was ordered to come here to speak to the one in charge." Hunter says as the droid looks around at the team & then goes away & the door opens.
As the door opens Crosshair holds on to his rifle that he carried with him as he went in with you & the team.
"This place looks like it's been through a lot." Tech says. "Shh. We don't want to disturb anyone else that is here, these walls echo down to corridor." Echo says walking beside Tech who was monitoring the new area.

"We're here. You all stay here, I'm going alone. If things go south, come after me." Hunter says as the team acknowledges him & watches as he enters the main room where Boba sat on the throne, Fennec Shand beside him.
"Do you come alone." Fennec asks. "My team is outside of that gate, don't try anything funny because I give the orders to them." Hunter says. "A commander? What a surprise." Boba says, his helmet on. "That's Sergeant to you sir, Sergeant Hunter. Now, you wanted me here to tell me about Omega, what is so special about her that none of us know." Hunter asks. "Well, like you & your team, your all clones, all have chips that have been removed or still in those heads of yours, like you, Omega is a clone. The Kaminonans have been on the hunt for her, tracking her footsteps, look, Segerant, they want her so they can use her for an experiment. They want to put her in a tube Segerant, if that makes any sense to you." Boba says. "That's not gonna happen." Hunter replies. "We also don't want it to happen Sergeant, that's why I'm asking you to let her go, keep her here, we'll keep her safe." Boba says removing his helmet & Hunter gets a look at his scar across his face. "How I can I trust a bounty hunter & someone who looks like one." Hunter says. "We are bounty hunter's. Always on the move, always in search of people & sometimes objects. So, what's it gonna be." Boba asks as Hunter turns on his comms sending an alert to the team.
"Hunter, we read you, what has happened?" Tech asks over comms. "Bring Omega in, theirs someone I need her to see." Hunter says as Tech looks around at the team who shrugged.
"She's on her way to you now." Tech replies & he sends Omega inside the where she met up with Hunter.

"Hunter why did you..." Omega pauses as Boba approaches her & gets down to her level. "Omega, do you know who I am." Boba asks as Omega looks at him right in the eye. "You're the son of Jango Fett. I can tell by the armor." Omega says. "Omega, there's something you don't know about yourself. Omega, your a clone, like the rest of your team, your valuable, even more than your team possibly even more than us. Here, come with me." Boba says as Hunter pulls out his knife.
"Oh Sergeant, when will you learn. Why would I hurt a little girl like Omega now. Go on Sergeant, ask her who side she's taking." Boba asks. "Hunter, what is this about?!" Omega asks. "Omega... Boba Fett here, told me that the Kaminonans are after you, they want you to be their experiment. They want to put you a tube Omega & I know that that is something you don't want. Would you rather stay with us running away from the Empire & have the Kaminonans keeping a close eye on us or would you rather be with them & out of trouble." Hunter asks. "Hunter... I want to stay with you. I left Kamino to be you. Not to be taken away from you all. I've known you all longer than you think you do." Omega says mentioning her team.
"Omega, if you want to be with us then that is where you'll be staying." Hunter says. "As long as I'm with you." Omega replies as Hunter smiles. "Aw. How sweet." Boba says as his expression changes & he draws his blaster & Fennec takes Omega away from them. "Hunter!" Omega screams as she is taken away from him.

Hunter immediately alerts his whole crew & Y/N, Crosshair, Wrecker, Echo, & Tech run into the room with their blasters drawn.
"Who is that?!" You ask. "Y/N get back to the ship, we'll handle this!" Hunter orders. "I'm not without Cross & my crew. "That's an order Y/N! Get back to the Marauder!" Hunter says as you back away from the fight & run off but before you could your leg was tied by a rope & you pulled by none other than Fennec who held you tight, her rifle pointed at your head. "Oh, we're doing this again... Great." You say as Crosshair threatens to kill Fennec.
"Let her go." Crosshair says under his helmet. "That's not gonna happen sniper. Better watch what you do, you may end up just like her." Fennec replies. "Cross, I've told you before & I'll say it again. You have to let me go sometime. I'm not going to last forever. Neither are you & the team." You say as Hunter sighs & so does Cross as he drops his sniper & stands their looking at you.

As the area went quiet you closed your eyes & as you did you heard blaster fire errupt, but you couldn't hear any screaming or feel pain you just felt cold wind rush through your body making you shiver.

Flashback

It was a winter planet, you opened your eyes to see clear white snow around you & light snow continuing to fall. You looked ahead to see Crosshair marching through the deep snow, his armor covered in white mist.
"Cross?" You call out. You were dizzy & your focus was blurry. "Y/N, lay still the team in on their way." Cross says. "Cross, what happened? Cross?" You ask weakly.

Suddenly you awoke from your flashback...

"Y/N! Y/N! We need a medic! Where's Omega!"
Your ears were ringing & all you could hear was the team shouting. You opened your eyes & everything began clear.
"Y/N!" It was Cross that called out your name. "Cross? What happened?" You ask as you try to sit up but you collapse back down. "Y/N, you've been wounded, here, I'll get you back to the Marauder." Cross says as he carrys you out to the speeder's. He sets you down on the back & speeds back towards the hangar to carry you onto the Marauder.
You remembered as you were picked up & taken away, you could see the team covered in blood & bruises, you only ever saw one of them on the ground, but you couldn't make out who it was but they were still & very lifeless.
