An Old Friend

Suddenly blaster fire began to shoot across the area, Hunter & the rest of the team stood determined to win & deafeat Rampart who was giving orders to his troops who were giving orders to the pilot of the shuttle that was going to take you away & bring you to the Imperial base.
"Hunter, who is that? He looks like you all, is he a clone?" Omega asks looking at Hunter as he gets down to Omega's level. "Omega, that's an old friend of ours, he knows Echo & Echo knows him more than any of us, that's Captain Rex, he served during the Clone Wars & now, now I'm not sure who or what he serves but he still fights as we do." Hunter replies as Captain Rex sets the team free & Rex shares a moment with Crosshair realizing he's back & changed sides.

Rex came around to where Rampart was & stood in front of him & before he could say anything or do anything Rex shot him which made him fall to his knees & fall face forward.
Rex backed away & looked up to see the shuttle still making it's course to take you.
Crosshair got himself high enough to where his sniper could reach the shuttle then he said, "Wrecker, knife!" Wrecker tosses up the knife, Crosshair shoots the knife making it fly straight towards the shuttle & making the shuttle fall from the sky.
Crosshair jumps down from where he was & walks towards the team as the shuttle blows up sending a red firey flame through the sky.
"Captain," Hunter says sharing a arm shake with him. "Sergeant." Rex replies.
"Haven't seen you around much Captain, glad you came for us, how'd you know that we needed help?" Hunter asks as Rex removes his helmet. "Well Echo here sent out a distress signal & I received it & came to help you all out. So, Hunter, you wanna introduce me to these two girls?" Rex asks looking at Y/N & Omega. "This is Omega, & this is Y/N. They've been on Kamino for quite a long time until we showed up." Hunter says as Rex smiles & looks over at Crosshair who had his arms crossed looking at Hunter.

Y/N went up to Crosshair & Cross held you close to him as he hugged you. "Are you safe?" Cross asks. "I'm fine, really... Just a little beat up." You say as Crosshair salutes you & you do the same smiling back at him.
"So, Crosshair finally came around & realized his place in all this?" Rex asks as Hunter looks at Rex after watching you & Cross. "It was Y/N. Y/N helped him & saved him from his loyalty to the Empire. They share a a unique bond, at least that's what I've heard from Cut." Hunter replies. "Finally decided to meet up with Cut huh, he's a good friend Hunter, & I see what your saying that Cut is saying about Y/N & Crosshair. they really do have some unique bond." Rex says.
"Where you heading off to now Captain?" Hunter asks. "I'm not sure, just making sure my friends & brothers are protected. We look out for each other until the end. An old friend of mine told me that just as the Clone Wars came to end... So, Sergeant, where are you heading off to?" Rex asks. "We're gonna go looking for a place to stay. Y/N & Crosshair. I'm not sure what their gonna be up to. I'll keep an eye on them." Hunter says. "As you should, see you around boys." Rex says as Hunter & his team salutes to Rex & Rex salutes back & heads towards his bomber attack shuttle he & Ahsoka escaped on.

"Come on boys, & girls. Let's get out of here & not deal with the Empire anymore that we already have dealt with." Hunter orders as you look at Hunter & then back at Cross. "You coming with us?" You ask. "I'll go & travel anywhere in the galaxy as long as it's with you or me in search of you." Crosshair says as you smile & board the Marauder with the team.

On the Marauder you walk up to Hunter who was in the cockpit of the Marauder looking for new planet coordinates & a place to lay low. "Hey, Y/N." Hunter says turning to look at you as you as sit in the pilots seat beside him. "Hey Hunter. Where we heading?" You ask. "I'm not sure, but we need to find somewhere on a planet that we can lay low & stay out of sight of the Empire." Hunter says as you acknowledge him by nodding & as you do suddenly the sky from the Marauder's view becomes dark. "What's going on?!" Omega asks running up to Hunter after relaxing with Lula in the back of the Marauder.
"Hunter runs off of the Marauder & looks up to see Star Destroyers high above. "Tech get us out of here!" Hunter orders going back into the Marauder & shutting the door.

Tech heads towards the cockpit, you get yourself strapped in behind Tech as he fires up the Marauder's engines & takes off jumping into hyperspace after exiting the planet.
"Cut wasn't kidding, the Empire has full control of the city it's impossible to not be seen by troopers." Hunter says. "When did you find out about that?" You ask. "Well when we came looking for you." Hunter says as Crosshair walks up to you. "Cross..." You say as you get yourself unstrapped from the seat & place your hands on Crosshairs helmet. You lift Crosshairs helmet & touch his scar.
Hunter looks at Crosshair & looks down. "Cross, I'm so sorry... For everything I said to you in the cell on Kamino. I never meant to hurt you. I wanted to tell you where the team was but I couldn't risk losing my friends, including Omega. & I couldn't risk losing you either. I knew it would end with you dying but you came back & I'm glad your still here with me." You say as Cross kisses your forehead. "It's not your fault Y/N. It was mine. I chose the wrong side. & Now I realize that." Crosshair replies as you smile shedding a tear.

Suddenly an alarm begins blaring on the Marauder.
"Tech what is it?" Hunter asks. "We have a transmission coming through." Tech replies. "Patch them through." Hunter says as a hologram shows up showing a man in a uniform with a entena on his helmet similar to Crosshairs. "Are you alone." The man asks. "Y/N, the rest of you, leave us. Tech, keep the ship steady." Hunter says. "Who are you?" Hunter asks. "My codename is Alpha, some people refer me as Boba." The man says. "Boba, huh, how did you find out contact?" Hunter asks. "Fennec Shand, a bounty hunter of mine, tracked your footprints, followed close behind you all." Boba replies. "So, what's so important." Hunter asks. "Well, the girl of course, the young one, Omega. She's more valuable than you think she is." Boba replies. "What do you mean?" Hunter asks crossing his arms. "Come met me on this planet, I'm sending the coordinates, come alone." Boba says as Tech types in the coordinates. "How can I trust you." Hunter says. "I'm a clone, like you all. Not defective, but a clone, my father was Jango Fett, I am Boba Fett, his rightful son taking his place." Boba says as he disconnects.
"Tech, type in the coordinates." Hunter orders. "Already did, we are heading to Tatooine, a desert planet." Tech says as Hunter acknowledges him & the crew buckles themselves up for a landing on Tatooine landing in the city known as Mos Eisley.
