I woke up to the sound of splashing coming from outside.

Remembering the night before I stare at the ceiling hoping he wouldn't bring it up again.

I mean it was nice they all wanted it sorting but it's just for themselves again, not because of my feelings.

I just wished they had said sorry 6 months ago and none of this would have been an issue. I feel like this is the only thing happening in my life at the moment.

After scrolling through my phone, I wash myself, throw on a bikini and head down to the pool.

"What do you guys want to do today?" Josh asked.

"The beach looked good?" I say as a few agreed.

"The beach it is." Vik replied as we all got our stuff ready to go to the beach.

We had all gotten a taxi to the beach and set up our towels near each other before me, freya, josh, harry and lux went in the sea.

"I still wanna jump off that." I state looking up to the cliff near us.

"Looks sick doesn't it." Harry replied as I nodded.

"You guys are tapped in the head." Lux shook his head laughing.

"Trust me." Freya giggled as I swam away.

"Where you going?" Josh asked me.

"Well i'm not going to stand here and keep looking at it." I laughed and carried on.

I had been swimming over to the side on the cliff to walk up when I felt a presence with me, I had already gathered it was him and to be quite honest I couldn't be bothered with the bickering so I allowed it.

I helped myself up and started the hike to the top of the cliff, feeling him behind me.

When we had got to the top I looked over at the view and took it all in.

It was beautiful.

"Almost makes the walk up here worth it doesn't it?" I say not keeping my eye off the view.

"The view is mint." He replied whilst I walked over and sat on the edge.

He joined me quietly as we both admired watching the boats drift along in the sea in front of us.

"Wanna jump?" He asks timidly.

"Just wait a few more moments, you can't walk all that way just for a five second view." I smile.

"Okay." He sits patiently.

"We will just pretend the 9 months hasn't happened for five minutes." I reply as he begins to sit more comfortably.

"I'm Michael nice to meet you." He smiles holding out his hand.

"Joyce." I say shaking his hand.

"Nice to meet you Joyce, tell me about yourself." He replies as I faced the sea again.

"I'm on a holiday away with the grandkids and it's the only time I get alone up here." I chuckle, "How about yourself Michael?"

"No grandkids, but my 10 cats are my world." He said as I smiled.

"Any lucky women in your life Mike?" I smirked.

"Not at the moment, I messed up with mine." He said twiddling his thumbs. "Do you think she'll ever take me back Joyce?"

"It depends if you want to salvage it for you, or for her." I reply looking out to the ocean.

"Obviously for her, I fucked up big time." He states as I look at him.
