Season 2 Chapter 3

It was really late at night but I was writing revision notes for the quints. Since the Uesugi family doesn't have a computer or a printer, I'm gonna have to write it all by hand.

Futaro: [Y/N]... You're still up? I can write the revision for you-

[Y/N]: No. Go to sleep, dimwit.

I push his head back to sleep as I give him a soft smile. He then smiles back as he pulls the covers back up and continue sleeping.

[Y/N]: One more week until the final... They averaged 20% on the first test. And on midterm they averaged 26%. At this rate, if nothing goes wrong, we'll make it! That's right. If nothing goes wrong.

(Itsuki POV)

Itsuki: They're late... Where on earth are they? Saturday is tutoring day. Everyone's here and waiting. Where are- Uesugi-kun?

I look to the side after going outside to see if they were around. I see Uesugi-kun dragging [Y/N]-kun who was lying on the floor.

Uesugi: Y-Yo... Itsuki...

Itsuki: [Y/N]-kun!?

I ran up to them as I flip [Y/N]-kun to his back. He has his eyes closed and he's unconscious. Is he dead!? Just as I thought that, a bubble blows out of his nose. Guess he's just sleeping.

Itsuki: He's sleeping like he's dead.

Uesugi: Yeah. I had to drag him here. He didn't get an ounce of sleep last night.

Itsuki: What was he thinking!? Hey! Wake up!

I give him a good slap as his nose bubble pops. He then sits up really quick as we both butt heads. We both held our heads as we both looked at each other.

[Y/N]: S-Sorry! Wait... you slapped me, didn't you!?

Itsuki: You were sleeping so I had to resort to slapping you!

[Y/N]: You could've just shaken me awake!

Itsuki: Uesugi-kun was already dragging you! What makes you think shaking you would've woken you up!?

Uesugi: Alright, that's enough.

The two of us stopped arguing as we both started laughing instead. [Y/N]-kun got up and helped me up as well. His hands are so farm as usual.

(Your POV)

After the little argument, the three of us headed inside to start to tutoring session. I took off my shoes and so did Futaro.

[Y/N]: I guess I did it again. I focused too hard on studying, and before I know it, it's morning.

Itsuki: Jeez, you have to take better care of yourself. Thanks to you, you two're late. We started off without you.

[Y/N]: Did I hear that right? The quints actually started studying without us?

Futaro: It's best to just believe her for now.

[Y/N]: Jeez... Fine. I guess we're going to have to try our best to make them all pass huh?

Futaro: Right.

[Y/N]: And for that, I prepared this.

I took out the incredibly thick problem set and handed it to Itsuki. She was shocked to see it as I rubbed my eye.

[Y/N]: *yawn* Sorry about that... It's a problem set that covers all areas we can expect to come up. If we go through this, we should have a fighting chance.

Itsuki: L-Let's call off our plans for today! Please take your leave!

[Y/N]: No running away! You take these!
