I sighed while looking down at the ground. I was wanting to talk about Futaro about his relationship with Yotsuba. It's been a while since they got together anyway.
[Y/N]: Maybe I'll just go to the cafeteria. Maybe I can find my Meatsuki there.
Going to the cafeteria, I decided to listen to music until I got there. Before turning a corner, I suddenly bumped into Yotsuba who was frantically looking around.
Yotsuba: [Y/N]-san!
[Y/N]: Yotsuba. Sorry about that. I wasn't looking.
Yotsuba: I-It's okay. I was looking for you anyway.
[Y/N]: You were looking for me? What's up?
Yotsuba: U-Um... Let's go to the cafeteria together!
I agreed to going to the cafeteria with Yotsuba but I wasn't sure why she wanted to go to the cafeteria with me. Out of all people.
So going to the cafeteria, we got our food and went to look for a seat. It was nice to be able to have alone time with Yotsuba. We never really talked much one on one other than the festival.
[Y/N]: I was meaning to ask this at Futaro but now that you're with me, I should just ask you. How's your relationship with him?
Yotsuba: A-Ah... About that...
Itsuki: [Y/N]-kun?
I looked ahead of me and saw Itsuki. I then smiled as I ran up to her following with Yotsuba who caught up to me.
[Y/N]: Meatsuki!
Itsuki: I-I said d-don't call me that!
[Y/N]: But it really suits you!
Itsuki: I-It's embarrassing!
Yotsuba looks between us before looking to the side. I noticed how uneasy she felt and I was concerned for her.
Futaro: [Y/N]?
Yotsuba then widen her eyes and hid behind me. I was a little confused so I move out of the way and revealed her to Futaro.
Futaro: Yotsuba?
Yotsuba: H-Hi, Uesugi-san...!
Seeing her awkwardness with Futaro, I'm guessing their relationship isn't exactly as stable as I thought.
Itsuki: Uesugi-kun? You didn't arranged this meeting for me and [Y/N]-kun?
Futaro: What? No. I just wanted to talk.
It's weird enough for Yotsuba to be avoiding Futaro but Futaro going to the cafeteria with Itsuki? What the hell is going on here?
[Y/N]: Why don't we look for a place to sit, Yotsuba.
Yotsuba: R-Right...
The two of us then went to the usual table I sit as Futaro and Itsuki sat at the one next to our table. It felt awkward so I wanted to know what was going on.
[Y/N]: So, how have you guys been?
Yotsuba: I'm... good.
Why the pause then?
Itsuki: I am feeling better now that I have my food.
[Y/N]: And that's why I call you my Meatsuki.
Itsuki: P-Please stop calling me that!
[Y/N]: *chuckles* What about you, Futaro?
Futaro: I'm okay. I might have a problem with something but I can deal with it myself.
