(This chapter is gonna be too short because the episodes ends in 6 minutes to this)

The trip then brings us to the Kiyomizu Temple The place where Futaro and I took a picture with those two girls. The first time I actually opened myself up to someone else other than my family. The first time I changed.

I see Yotsuba and Itsuki looking over Kyoto as Futaro and I approached them. Futaro then sweatdrops as he sees how high up we are from the ground.

Futaro: It feels higher, seeing it for the first time in a while.

[Y/N]: It's not that bad.

Itsuki: Uesugi-kun. [Y/N]-kun.

Yotsuba: I thought you two were with your friends.

Futaro: [Y/N] wanted to talk to Miku. We thought she'd be with you.

Itsuki: Miku isn't here. She doesn't seem to be well yet. She's resting at the hotel.

[Y/N]: I see...

Yotsuba: And Ichika and Nino are walking around with their friends from second year. I'm worried about Miku, but... Yeah, so the two of us are spending our time together.

[Y/N]: It's kind of sad seeing less than half of you.

Itsuki: I-It's not bad, for a change. Hey, we're at Kiyomizu Temple!

Yotsuba: Itsuki?

Itsuki: Look at this scenery, [Y/N]-kun *grabs [Y/N]'s arm* It's gorgeous!

[Y/N]: H-Hey! Quit tugging! It's dangerous!

Itsuki: *smirk* You're afraid of this? And you call yourself a man?

[Y/N]: Who said I was afraid? I was just being cautious because I don't want you to fall.

Itsuki then starts to blush as she lets go of my arm. She then thought of an idea as she grabs my arm once again.

Itsuki: Let's take a picture together. Here.

[Y/N]: Um, sure? Why, though?

Itsuki: Uesugi-kun, if you will.

Futaro: Alright, love birds. Get in the picture.

Futaro then takes out the camera I brought for the trip as Itsuki and I looked at the camera. Itsuki then suddenly hugged my arm as I blushed after feeling the sensation of her bonkhonagahoogs.

[Y/N]: Why are you being so bold, Itsuki? and since when!?

Futaro takes the picture as I suddenly remembered something. This exact spot, this exact posture with Itsuki. It's so... familiar... It's like... It's as if Itsuki... was Rena...

Itsuki: Can I see it?

Futaro shows Itsuki the photo and when I managed to get a glimpse of it, I thought of five years ago. The time Rena, Futaro, the other girl and I took a picture together. Rena was very clingy. Can't say I hate it.

Itsuki and Yotsuba then left the Kiyomizu Temple as Futaro and I stayed back. I then sighed as I looked over Kyoto and saw the Kyoto station.

[Y/N]: That's where I first met her and got lost.

Futaro: The girl?

[Y/N]: Yeah. She was something. I haven't asked you much, Futaro. How's the girl you met?

Futaro: She... well... I can't say much... We didn't have that big of a conversation.

[Y/N]: Really? Sounds like you.

Futaro: What's that supposed to mean?

[Y/N]: I mean, come on, if someone were to sit in a room with you alone, the only thing you're going to have is silence.

Futaro: You make it as if I'm hard to talk to.

[Y/N]: No, I'm not. I'm trying to say that even through silence, nothing can go awkward. That's just who you are, Futaro.

Futaro: That's... touching.

[Y/N]: Hey, we're at the place we first met. Everything's going to he touchy at some point.

Futaro: I suppose you're right. You need me to transfer that photo?

[Y/N]: Hm... Yeah, sure.

Futaro then sends me the picture as I take out my phone. I then look at it and smiled seeing how similar it is to the time I took a picture with Rena. Too similar.

[Y/N]: Is she... No...

Futaro: Hey, look. It's Azuki.

I turn around and see my cousin who ran up to us. He then tells us that him, Takeda and Maeda are about to leave the Kiyomizu Temple which got us to follow them.

Futaro: What were you gonna say, [Y/N]?

[Y/N]: Huh? Oh, it's nothing.

Even though I said it was nothing, it definitely wasn't. Now that I think about it, I've had a talk with Shimoda the other day. I asked her a few things about Itsuki working with her so I proceeded to ask about their mom.

(Flashback)

Shimoda: My sensei's name? Why do you need to know that?

[Y/N]: It's... It's been troubling me. I never really paid attention to her name on the gravestone and I wanted to visit it and pay respects without having to find Itsuki.

Shimoda: Ahh, I see. You're very intent into paying respects to my sensei.

[Y/N]: It's the least I can do. I can't really pay respects to my family because they were buried in Kyoto.

Shimoda: That's sad. Well, Sensei's name was Rena. Gosh, it feels so awkward to say it out loud.

[Y/N]: Rena, huh...

(End of Flashback)

[Y/N]: How could I have met a dead person? It's only natural to think that this Rena girl is none other than one of the quints. I just wonder who...

Futaro: [Y/N], you okay?

[Y/N]: Huh?

I look up and Futaro stood in front of me with Azuki while Takeda and Maeda kept walking. I realised now that I was very deep in thought to the point I didn't realise I was behind.

Azuki: Something's definitely on your mind.

[Y/N]: It's nothing. Don't worry about it.

Azuki: Oh, come on. You definitely have something.

[Y/N]: Don't press on it.

I walked away from Futaro and Azuki as I caught up to Takeda and Maeda. I definitely don't want my friends to be worrying about me. Especially when it's something as trivial as finding out who Rena really is.

I'll just have to find out.
