Tristan's POV
"THEY DID WHAT!" A very enraged voice bellowed from inside the captain's office, compelling my golden heart to deviate a little inside my perfectly chiseled chest but nonetheless, I kept calm and coolheaded.
You might wonder why the Captain of the New York City Police headquarters was so infuriated by what the guys and I did, and I had a solid explanation for that, though.
Well, you see, Captain Benjamin Pierce was my oh-so-very kind and loving uncle, and now you see how I would escape the consequences of my misdemeanor I brought upon myself. However, I was not feeling agitated by the fury he had inside his office because I could handle him, but that was after an earful of ruction.
"Bro, he looked so mad," Jax mumbled, shaking his feet nervously, and I sighed.
"Everything is going to be just fine. We just have to get through his anger," I looked over at Brendan, and he was staring through the glass of my uncle's office door, where he was having a fracas discussion with the dear officer that brought us here.
I told him not to.
Dude didn't listen.
"Bruh, what would the college administering do? I mean, what we did was bad, I mean it felt good, but not when it would affect my future-"
"Everything is going to be okay, Brendan," I reassured him. He was just getting a bit worked up about what the outcome might be, but as I assured you earlier, everything was going to be alright.
"My mom-"
"Your mom or dad won't do anything because they already knew you were a troubled boy since the day you started middle school bro-"
"That won't stop them from giving me a full-on lecture that might involve my grandmother, and she already thinks that I am a disgrace to the family," he explained, looking at me with a bit of worry in his eyes.
I leaned over and touched his shoulder. "It's better than getting shipped to Africa to be with your sister and only work," I told him, remembering his family threatening to send him there to be with his sister who was working with animals.
And they didn't care he was in college.
He shuddered at the thought. "And I hate animals too."
"Exactly, ma boy, exactly," I turned to look at my uncle when the door opened, and the cop walked out.
"He's ready to see you, and he's not happy," that he walked away, and I turned to look at my friends.
"Remember, we are brothers in this," I enunciated.
"Always."
"Now let's go get our ears eaten off," that we walked inside, closing the door shut.
When we got inside, his back was turned facing his window and a second later, he turned around.
Before my ears got eaten off my head, I must have you know that my uncle was like a second dad to me, and I even think he cared for me more than my real father did. So I wasn't surprised if he got angry with me... Us. Brendan and Jax were like family to him, and he treated them like sons, seeing that he doesn't have children of his own.
He hasn't found the right one yet.
He was with me all my life, where he grew to love Brendan and Jax.
My uncle was a very considerate and sweet man that anybody could want, but when it came to getting disciplined, he got that covered, and he wouldn't show clemency unless it was very emotional.
