"Why didn't you call?!" A voice shrieked with anger, making me flinch in fright.

I shrugged softly with my hands inside my jeans pockets. "I left my phone in my bag," I told my worried best friends.

"Why did you leave it in the first place?" Chloe asked like a worried mom. "That's why they are called phones. You should always have it on you, so if something goes down like this...do you know how worried we were?"

Tristan stepped inside next to me. "Why don't you guys go easy on her. She's here now...."

The girls sighed, looked at him, and nodded, "You're right, Tristan," they hugged me without another word, and I hugged them back, wondering. Were they friends now? "We missed you," Ashley said, leaning her head on my shoulder, sighing.

The fact that they casually said, 'you're right, Tristan,' got me in surprised and needed answers.

What happened when I wasn't here?

"We thought you were kidnapped," Chloe whispered, hugging as if I'd been dead for years and just resurrected again.

"Wait," both of them said in realization, pulling away from me. "What is he doing here!"

Thought they'd never ask...

"Ah, yes. We are friends now-" Tristan began, nonchalantly.

"You ladies have nothing inside y'all house. The fridge is so fucking dry-" Jax froze when he was coming up to the door from inside our kitchen.

Hold on...

"Did someone point a gun at you, dude?" I heard Brendan asked with a packed mouth. Why was he even eating in my house? "Why the f-" froze Brendan when he caught sight of us.

What the hell.

"What are they doing here!" Tristan said with astonishment, his eyes widening in shock.

He looked so confused and astounded, and so was I.

His eyes looked at everyone inside the room then they locked on me last.

He gave me a, 'did you know about this look,' and I shook my head.

"Wait. What is all of us doing here!" Brendan yelled in realization, looking around questioningly.

Well, things just got awkward, and the girls had some explaining to do.

When since they became friends?

"Well, we live here so..." Chloe said in a matter of fact tone.

"I just wanted some food..." Said Brendan, shrugging nonchalantly.

Tristan growled next to me, and I giggled, turning to look at him, at the same time he looked down at me smiling. His smile compressed me to blush like CRAZZZY.

This dude was too charming.

I turned away from him and looked at the others, sensing my heart flutter.

"Why are you always hungry, dude? You're always eating," said Jax with his hands on his hips like some strick mom and a glare aimed at innocent looking Brendan.

"Wait, wait. What are you guys doing here!?" Tristan repeated, but more melodramatically.

"They came to help us find Blondie here," Ashely said, walking off, and we all followed behind.

"Why didn't you call the police instead? They would've been better help...." Said Tristan, and I nodded, agreeing. "No offense, but these guys are idiots, especially Brendan."
