Sometimes Iris would drift off and dream about
The heavenly paradise she was forced to live without
Her white tinted wooden beach house
Blue sky above our heads
Sandy grounds under our feet
A wooden pathway that lead
To the tips of the sea painting the beach
The salt water hugs my curves
And carries my body and its hurt
My broken heart would sink and fade away
And my pain would lose itself with the waves
My smile could finally beam and glow
And my peace could last forevermore
Children's laughs layer with the ocean's voice
Arthur would smile at me in peace and join
It's like my heavy heart is now hollow void
And our souls are soaked in aquamarine joy
When the sun leaves the sky
And the distant stars take on
We'd watch the sea in its slumber
And talk about the hell we left forever
