 Savannah's POV

After Morgan left to meet his tour bus, I sat in the empty apartment, thinking about everything that happened over the past 24 hours.

I went from not wanting to go to his show with Laken, to meeting him backstage, to letting him come back here last night, and agreeing to possibly giving our relationship another shot.

It sounds crazy, actually giving into someone that quickly, but he's right.

I don't want to be 30 years down the road wondering what if, even if I have been wondering what if for the past 4 years that we've been separated from each other.

I walk back into my room, and hop on my bed, relaxing into the soft sheets. My mind going back to the first time I met a young, starry eyed Morgan Wallen.

Flashback

My friend Madison had dragged me to a baseball game our freshman year of high school. Thankfully, I had a love for the sport, so I wasn't fighting too hard about it.

As we were watching the game, I noticed a face on the field that immediately caught my eye.

"Who is that?" I question.

Madison gives me a smirk, before turning to me.

"That's the new kid that started here a few weeks ago. His name is Morgan. It's his first game with the team" she tells me.

The two of us watch the rest of the game, letting the conversation go from the players to the actual game.

I'm walking back towards my parents' car, when I hear the sound of cleats running up behind me.

"Wait up" I hear coming from behind me.

I turned around to see the kid that Madison had pointed out, Morgan, running up to me. He stops in front of me, before giving me a smile.

"I saw you in the stands, just wanted to catch you before you left, introduce myself and all" he tells me.

I gave him a nod, a smile coming to my face.

"I'm Savannah" I tell him.

"Morgan"

End of Flashback

I feel myself slowly start to drift off to sleep, only to be woken up by my phone buzzing on my pillow next to me.

"Hello?" I answer.

"Someone was clearly taking a nap" I hear coming from the other end of the phone, followed by a chuckle.

"I was almost asleep" I tell him.

Morgan lets out a sigh.

"I just wanted to let you know that I made it back" he tells me.

"Thank you for letting me know" I tell him.

Morgan lets out a chuckle, before telling me to get off the phone and sleep. With a promise to talk later, I hang up the phone, before cuddling deeper into the sheets.

I'm woken up a few hours later by another body landing on the bed next to me. I open my eyes slightly to see Laken laying next to me, a smile on her face.

"Where's the superstar at?" Laken asks.

"Had to leave" I tell her, shrugging my shoulders.

Laken gives me a sad smile, before moving closer to cuddle into my side.

"So, what's the verdict sis?" Laken asks, laying her head on my pillow.

"We will see what happens. I don't want to get my hopes up for anything, but he told me he wanted to go back to how we were, so I guess we will see what happens" I tell her.

"You deserve to be happy" she tells me.

"So do you Lakes" I tell her.

A smile comes to her face, before she pushes me slightly.

"Let's go get some food" she suggests.

I give her a nod, getting up from my spot on the bed.

Laken leaves the room, heading to hers to change while I freshen myself up from my nap. Once I leave the room, I see Laken looking back at me, a smile on her face.

"Let's get some pizza, and some wine. I'm feeling a girls night" she tells me.

I give her a nod, grabbing the keys to my 4Runner off of the kitchen table.

"Sounds good to me" I tell her.

Morgan's POV

Sitting on my bus outside of the venue in Georgia, a smile comes to my face seeing a good luck message come through from Savannah.

"So, how did last night go?" Hardy asks, taking a seat next to me.

I shrug my shoulders, taking a sip from the water bottle in my hand.

"I think it went good, she said she was willing to at least try and get back to how we were, just have to show her I'm not going anywhere" I tell him.

If there was one person who was more pissed about my leaving Savannah, other than our families, it would be Hardy.

The two of them had almost a sibling level bond. When something happened in her life, he was there, and vice versa. After he found out about me leaving, he found me in Nashville and decked me in the face, something I never expected from him.

No matter what he was feeling at the time, he still stuck by my side.

He had told me about his attempts to contact Savannah, he was heartbroken when she didn't actually answer him. I felt horrible ruining their relationship, and I still feel horrible about it to this day.

"Do you think it'll actually stick this time?" he asks.

Thinking about it, I give him a nod.

"I hope it will. You know how much I loved her, and how much I regret what I did. Hell, I cried to you about it, and you know I'm not an emotional person at all sometimes" I tell him, letting out a chuckle.

"Just promise me something" Hardy says, standing up from his seat.

I give him a nod, listening to what he says.

"Don't break her heart again. She didn't deserve it the first time, and she doesn't deserve it again. If you don't think you can be loyal to her, if you don't think you can actually commit to her, don't get back with her" he tells me.

"I don't plan on it dude" I tell him.
