Savannah's POV

A few days after graduation, Laken and I had the apartment packed up and cleaned, ready for my sister and her friend to move in to.

"Did you figure out what Ellie wanted to keep?" Laken asks, looking around the half empty living room.

"Yeah. She told me just the big furniture out here, and the table. They were going to bring everything else with them" I tell her.

"So does that mean we have everything packed up?" Morgan questions, walking back into the apartment.

I give him a nod as he walks over to me, wrapping his arms around my shoulders.

I thought that graduating was hard, giving up that piece of my life. However, this is even harder. This apartment is the place where Laken and I grew closer, our temporary safe place.

"Well, if you girls are ready, let's hit the road. I think Ellie said they were going to be coming with their stuff at 3" Hardy tells us.

Laken walks over to me, throwing her arm around my shoulder as the two of us walk out of the apartment together.

That's when reality hits me like a truck.

This house could possibly be the last place that Laken and I move in together at hit the moment we walked out of the apartment door.

Eventually, she's going to move into her own space, or I will.

Walking out to the parking garage, I see all four of our cars sitting near the entrance. Morgan gives me one more kiss, before opening up my car door for me.

I look back at the building one last time, before pulling away heading in the direction of our new home for the time being.

An hour later, we pulled up into a beautiful ranch home on a few acres of property. Laken and I park our cars first before Morgan and Hardy pull in behind us.

"Let's get to unpacking" Laken exclaims, as the two of us link arms to walk inside.

Karen, one of the Alumni from our sorority, had this house available seeing as how it was only a vacation house for her and her family. She offered us the house, saying that she would leave all of the furniture free to use if we would like.

After walking around the house, and picking out our rooms, Laken and I started the task of getting bags and boxes out of our cars.

Once we unload everything, I start to pull the necessities out that I need for the night, leaving the rest of it for tomorrow.

"When do you guys have to meet the bus?" I ask Morgan.

"Next Friday" he responds, giving me a pout in response.

Morgan walks over to me, wrapping his arms around me tightly.

"It'll be over before you know it, then you can come back to me" I tell him.

Morgan smiles at me, before planting a kiss against my lips.

A knock on the bedroom door has the two of us pulling away from each other and turning in that direction.

"We were thinking about going to get something to eat, do ya'll want to tag along?" Hardy questions, peeking his head into the bedroom.

Morgan and I shared a look, before turning our attention back to the door.

"Nope" we say in unison.

Laken lets out a chuckle, before giving me a smirk and following Hardy out of the house.
