Savannah's POV
"Are you sure that you're going to be, okay? We can try to push this off longer if you want" Morgan asks, looking between myself and the car in the driveway.
Morgan and Hardy are getting ready to head back on tour after a few month break.
Morgan and I had spent the last few days only getting out of my bed for food and the occasional shower, or if Laken was forcing us to get fresh air.
"We will be fine babe, I promise. You need to go and finish this up so you can go home" I tell him.
Morgan sighs, before laying a hand on my hip.
"I don't know if I want to go anymore honestly" he responds.
I let out a chuckle, before putting my hand over his.
"It'll all be fine, it's only a few weeks, and I have Laken. So, I won't be alone" I tell him, looking over at the two on the other side of the car that are in their own world.
"I love you so much" Morgan says, before placing his lips on mine one last time.
"I love you" I respond, giving him one last squeeze before he starts walking away from me.
"Hey Morgan" I say to him.
Morgan turns around to look at me, a small smile on his face.
"Don't forget about me please" I tell him.
Truth is, we don't know what could potentially happen with him leaving. When we were together before, I was at every show, standing right by the stage with a smile on my face.
This time is beyond different.
There are fans, girls falling at his feet, people screaming his name. My insecurities are running ragged right now thinking of everything that could possibly go wrong over the next few weeks.
He's not Morgan from down the street anymore, he's the famous country artist known across the world.
Morgan walks towards me, placing a hand on my cheek.
"I never could. You are in my every thought, every moment you are on my mind" he responds, putting his forehead to mine.
Hardy walks over to Morgan, putting a hand on his shoulder and nodding towards the bus. The two of them start walking away as Laken wraps her arm around mine.
"What now?" Laken asks, as the two of us walk towards the car.
"Now we figure our lives out" I tell her, letting out a chuckle.
Once we get home, we both make our way inside and sit down in the living room, attempting to think of what our next steps would be.
"Okay crazy idea" Laken says putting down her drink on the table beside her. I look up at her, giving her my full attention.
"Why don't we just start our own company instead of trying to apply to one that might have openings. We could be our own bosses, do things the way we want to rather than the way someone else wants us to. I don't think it would be too difficult to do" she suggests.
"I actually love that idea, Lake! It would give us the freedom we want, and we can do things at our own pace rather than someone else's" I respond.
The next few hours are spent brainstorming, looking at office spaces in Nashville, and looking into getting the proper licensing that we need in order to start a business from scratch.
Hearing our phones ring simultaneously, Laken and I look at each other with a smile as she walks out of the room.
"Hello" I answer, attempting to finish typing out my thought.
"I miss you so damn much" I hear coming from the other end of the line.
A smile comes to my face hearing the voice.
"I miss you more" I tell him, before setting my laptop to the side and walking out to the porch.
"What are you guys doing?" Morgan asks.
"Just hanging out at the house, missing you" I respond.
After spending a little bit of time on the phone, Morgan has to hang up to get on stage, but promises to call back after.
Once I hung up the phone, I walk back inside to see Laken sitting back down on the couch, a smile on her face.
"Morgan?" she asks.
"Hardy?" I ask.
The two of us spend a few more hours going over everything and getting a decent business plan started, before ordering dinner and putting in a movie.
The two of us cuddled together on the couch, watching the movie play on the screen, not a word spoke between the two of us.
"Are you worried at all?" Laken questions, breaking the silence.
"That's a loaded question" I respond, letting out a chuckle.
"To answer your question though, I am. Before it wasn't that big of a deal if he was going to play a few shows at random bars because I would usually be with him. This time he's got fans, girls willing to do whatever they can to get to him, and he's well known so he's always in some sort of spotlight. I can't help but to worry about what could potentially happen with me not there with him" I add.
Laken gives me a nod, understanding where I'm coming from.
"I don't think either one of them would do anything stupid on purpose, but there's no telling what can happen" she tells me.
I gave her a nod.
"Let's hope not" I tell her.
The two of us spend a little while longer together, before retreating to our own rooms for the night.
As soon as I lay down in bed, my door opens up with Laken popping her head in my room, a small smile on her face.
"Sleepover?" She asks.
I give her a nod, before lifting up the other side of my blanket.
