Savannah's POV

A few weeks have passed since Morgan and Hardy left to finish up the tour. So far, everything has been pretty okay. Laken and I got the ball rolling on starting our PR firm, starting with all of the legal stuff we needed to do to get our licenses.

Morgan and I talk a few times a day, same as Laken and Hardy.

Hearing footsteps walking towards the kitchen, I look up seeing Laken walk towards me, a frown on her face.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

Laken sighs, before sitting next to me.

"I don't even know how to go about this" she responds.

"Just come out with it, because you're freaking me out" I tell her.

Laken says nothing, just hands me her phone and puts her face in her hands.

Looking down at the phone, I see it's open to a gossips site article, the article title causing my heart to feel like it's beating out of my chest.

Country singer Morgan Wallen spotted with a mystery blonde last night, has he moved on to the next girl?

I set her phone down on the counter, staring straight at the article on the screen until the screen cuts off.

"Sav" she states.

I look up at her with tear filled eyes, "Hmm" I respond.

"Where's your head at honey?" she asks.

Before either one of us can speak, my phone starts ringing on the counter. Seeing the name on the phone, I hand her my phone before walking outside, sitting on the porch swing.

A few minutes later, and a lot of yelling, Laken walks outside.

"Do you want to talk to him right now?" Laken asks.

I shake my head no in response.

"She's not wanting to talk right now, she will talk to you when she's ready" she states, before hanging up the phone and sitting down on the swing next to me.

"What's going through your head right now?" she asks.

"I need to get out of town for a few days" I respond.

She gives me a nod, before answering her ringing phone.

"No, she's not okay, what kind of question is that Michael" Laken states, walking back towards the house.

Hearing my phone buzz next to me, I ignore it and walk back inside and down to my room.

Grabbing one of my suitcases, I start throwing clothes in it attempting to pack anything I might need for a few weeks away.

"What are you doing?" Laken questions.

"Packing a bag" I respond.

"I'll see if she does, hang on" she says into the phone.

She holds the phone out to me, a sad smile on her face.

"It's Michael. He's alone and just wants to check up on you" she tells me.

Grabbing the phone from her, I put it up to my ear, before walking towards the bathroom.

"What?" I ask.

"Sav where are you going?" he asks.

I stop moving, taking a deep, shaky breath in.

"I don't know right now; I just need some time away from this dammed town. I need to clear my head" I respond.

I hear him sigh on the other end of the phone.

"Sassy" he says but is cut off by another voice coming into the room.

"Is that Savannah? Let me talk to her please" I hear Morgan say from the other end of the line.

I hand Laken back her phone and finish what I'm doing.

Laken leaves the room and comes back a few minutes later with a bag in her hands and a smile on her face.

"Where are we going?" She asks.

"You don't have to come with me" I respond.

"I'm not staying here; I am coming with you. If you think for one second, I am going to let my best friend leave this house alone in the middle of all of this, you are sadly mistaken" she tells me.

I nod my head, before grabbing my bag and walking towards my car.

Did I feel bad about not answering him? Kind of.

I knew if we talked right now, I wouldn't be able to control my emotions, and it would just lead to a bigger argument.

"You're not driving" Laken states, causing me to stop in my tracks.

I hand her the keys, before loading the bags into the back and getting into the passenger seat.

"So, where did you want to go?" Laken questions, starting up the car.

"Beach house" I tell her.

Morgan's POV

I wake up to the front door of my bus slamming open, a pissed off Hardy walking towards me.

"What the fuck is wrong with you" Hardy exclaims, ripping the covers off of me.

"What are you talking about?" I ask, looking up at him.

He throws his phone down at me, an article up on the screen.

"Dammit" I exclaim.

I grab my phone off the nightstand, attempting to get ahold of Savannah.

"What do you want Morgan?" I hear coming from the other end of the line.

"Let me talk to her Laken" I respond.

"Hell no you aren't talking to her, you fucked up Morgan. You will not be talking to her until she is ready to talk to you, and not a second sooner" she responds.

"Laken please, I just need to explain it to her" I pleaded.

I hear a click on the other end of the phone, causing me to let out a sigh.

"What even happened?" Hardy asks, sitting next to me.

"I couldn't even tell you, because I don't remember anything happening" I respond, laying my head in my hands.

"I'm going to call Laken, see if she knows where Savannah's head is" Hardy tells me, before walking out of the room.

After a few more attempts to call Savannah, I walked out of the room seeing Hardy pace in the living room.

"Let me talk to her" I hear Hardy say.

"Where are you going?" he asks.

"Sassy" he says.

"Is that Savannah?" I say, running up to where he is.

I attempted to grab the phone, only to see the call was hung up.

"What is going on? Is she okay?" I question.

"All I know is that she was packing some stuff" he replies.

Standing up from the couch, I quickly walk into my room, Hardy following after me.

"Don't even think about leaving right now" he tells me.

"I have to do something, anything at this point. I can't lose her again, not over something that I don't even know happened or not" I tell him.

"We will be done with this leg in a few weeks, give her some time to cool off and see if she reaches out" he suggests.

"I just don't want to wait too long, I can't risk losing her" I tell him.

"Just give her time" he tells me.

Time? Just how much time is too much time.
