Five human years have passed since the war began, and yet, nothing had been compromised between the two kingdoms.
What seemed to be a long five-year war to the humans, was equal to an entire century of fighting to the Fae folk.
Throughout the constant years of war, Lilia and Y/n's main priority was caring for and protecting the tiny horned Prince.

"That's it, Mally! One foot in front of the other! Keep going, now walk to Y/n!"
A single tear fell down the black-haired vampire's cheek as he watched his young master cautiously make his way to Y/n.
"Come on, Mally! You're almost there." Y/n happily smiled as she watched the baby stumble his way into her wide-spread arms as she sat knelt on the floor.
Titania sat in the rocking chair in the corner of Malleus's room, adoring the loving scene.
"Ugh! Alright kid you're making me impatient, hurry it up!" Y/n jokingly scowled as Malleus landed in her lap.
Baby Malleus beamed up at Y/n triumphantly, his lime-green hues sparkling even brighter when Y/n returned a loving smile. No longer did Y/n despise the child. The three-hundred-year-old Fae only recently warmed up to the twenty-year-old fae,* after he, once again, burned Lilia's hair that he had successfully grown back through the human years.
Lilia, now back to his bob cut, despaired for what seemed like weeks before Y/n dragged his ass out of his coffin. After he admitted defeat (in a manner of seconds) Lilia decided that it was finally time to teach Malleus to walk, as he became tired of trying to catch the floating baby whenever the magic wore off. This brings us to where the story begins today...
