Tigre means tiger in french. The tiger is a major enemy of the dragon. (Which may be another reason why Malleus does not enjoy his company)
Nizaire was adopted by the King and Queen of the Moorlands from a faraway land much similar to our world's Japan, though in this world it is called Chiyuterasu. This is why he has two names, the other being Natsume which was his birth-given name.
(Chiyuterasu is named after Amaterasu, the highest deity in Japanese mythology.)
Even though he is not of royal birth, his parents encourage him to take the throne after their reign. Though he is very hesitant on the matter because he does not believe he can fulfill such an important duty.
When his sister Fleur was born, Nizaire felt out of place since she was a true Tigrendia and he was just adopted into the family. His feelings of jealousy and loneliness grew until he developed a darker personality who he calls by his birth-given name, Natsume. Almost like a split personality situation, though Nizaire holds Natsume back from coming out all the time.
𑁍 ℙ𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕪 𑁍
Nizaire is a very polite and gentle person, since as so is taught in the Moorlands, the kingdom of the Light Fairies. He falls for Y/n almost instantly and falls so deeply in love that he can't control the dark emotions that arise when one is in love. This leads him to have some yandere tendencies, but not to an extreme extent.
He loves playing with children. He finds their imaginations and stories amusing. Y/n would use this to her advantage to get out of doing her job (watching Malleus). Nizaire doesn't mind, he enjoys being treated as a servant for our young Malleus.
