"Y/n!!! I brought you a rose! It's (f/c) and I picked it out just for-- Lilia?"
Y/n's bloodlust faded immediately at the presence of Malleus.
"Y/n? L-Lilia? What's going on? Are y-you fighting?"
Y/n hurriedly stood up and grabbed a blanket off her bed. Throwing the blanket in the air and wrapping Malleus's tiny body, she fled from the room, leaving Lilia bruised and gasping for air.

Malleus's horns tore through the blanket as he tried searching for the blanket's ends. He kept a tight hold on the (f/c) roses while trying not to hurt them.
When he finally got his head out of the blanket, he looked up to Y/n teary-eyed.
"Y-Y/n? M-May I ask why you're crying?"
"It's nothing," she whispered, holding the baby Fae's body closer to her chest, "Everything will be alright, so don't cry either, okay?" Y/n gave Malleus a closed-eyed smile.
