Maria's Donor

Chapter 6 [MONTH 2]

It's been two months since Maria decided to use the donor process and she hasn't been regretting it. Though she got a lot busier than usual it took her time and she could not go for a her first pregnancy check up. James never stepped foot on her house or called since that night , he too was consumed with work and was trying not to get in his feelings.

"Maria today you have to come it's been two months , I'll drag to the doctor if I have to." Her mother said through the phone.

"Okay mama I'm actually on my way." She said speed walking to her car , she got in and started the engine.

"I told your donor that your first check was today so you'll meet each other , don't ask me why ,you told me that he wanted to be involved." Her mom said then hung up, she arrived at the doctors clinic and walked out calmly ,she didn't spot his car anywhere.

"Hey, I'm here for my Appointment under Maria." She said to the receptionist,who nodded and directed her to the doctors office, she got in and saw James sitting on one of the chairs.

"Maria , I never thought I'd see you laying on this chair." Her doctor said a she applied the gel ,the gynecologist was the one who covered all her sisters pregnancies.

"Neither did I but here we are." Maria replied with a smile, James just looked at her she looked like she was glowing from the last time he saw her.

"So everything looks good." The doctor said , she looked at the screen and was in awe , James took a video with her phone and his phone of everything.

"Would you like to hear the heart beat?" The doctor asked , they both nodded they heard the heartbeat and she felt her heart fall in love all over again.

"Well since we can't tell you the genders of the babies yet you'll definetly have to come back in two weeks." The doctor said wiping the gel.

"What do you mean babies?" James asked ,speaking for the first time today.

"They are twins ,congradualtions." The doctor said with a smile , Maria couldn't contain a yes and a smile escaping from her lips. James nodded to the news of course he was excited but he felt himself getting attached to attached.

"Thank you Doctor Myers."  Maria said as she walked out of the office he doctor nodded and she walked out of the clinic , James following behind her.

"Maria." He called out she hummed and looked back at him, he walked up to her and took a deep breath.

"My parents want to see you , you know you'll be raising our children ,so tgey were hoping this evening for dinner." He said looking at her, she remained silent for a moment ,she didn't have that much work to do for the rest of the day.

"Sure, I'll be there." She replied.

"Actually I'll pick you up 6pm, thank you." He said then walked away , she got in her Mercedes and drove to Rosalie's apartment.

"Hey Rose." She said walking in , Rosalia came in holding her baby he was 8 months.

"Aww little Julian." Maria cooed as Rosalia handed her the baby.

"So how did the check up go?" Rosalia asked anxiously, Maria had a smile on her face.

"I'm having twins." Maria said looking at her , Rosalia screamed with joy and hugged and her bay looked at them.

"Congradualtions I know like it's a thing in your family." Rosalia said , they spent the rest of the afternoon talking and playing with the baby.

"So any news from your baby daddy?" Rosalia asked.

"Yeah I got invited for dinner with his parents ,they want to see who will be raising his kid." Maria replied with a smile, Rosalia raised her eyebrows.

"Okay, sis so what are you wearing." Rosalia asked as she put the baby to sleep.

"I'm thinking a dress but a summer one the one you got me and some sandals and a denim jacket." Maria said as they walked to her car.

"That would be good , if their filthy rich get me some silverware." Rosalia said with a smile.

"I'll try , goodbye ro." Maria said hugging her, Rosalia hugged her back , she got in her car and drove off blasting ed sheerans Equals albulm. She got to her house and began getting ready it was 5:30pm. She took a shower and wore the florals dress and denim jacket. She heard a knock on her door and opened it MIT was James.

"Are you sure you want to wear that?" He asked stepping in , she did look good but not like the lies he told his parents.

"It dosent look bad to me." She said looking at him.

"Darling my parents are elegant you know." He said looking at her, she shrugged ,he groaned.

"We are going to Herders restaurant." He said looking at her , she choked on her spit ,the place was expensive , water there cost 10USD from what she heard.

"You could've said that , just give me 10." She said walking to her room , she locked the door and video called Rosalia.

"We are going to Herders Ro, I don't have a fit for such luxury." She said removing her dress.

"I do have an idea ,but I don't think you'll like it." Rosalia said looking at her, Maria raised her eyebrows.

"That black dress,you wore for your dad's company opening party." Rosalia said , she knew the black dress ,Damien loved that black dress.

"No." Maria said sternly, there was a knock on her door.

"Hey we have reservations for 7pm so hurry up." James said through the door.

"Okay just five minutes." She  replied,  she looked at the dress.

"I'll call you back." Maria said then hung up the phone , she took a black silk dress that reached her knees and a leather jacket with a black heels and walked out.

"Lets go." She said walking out ,he followed her and she locked the house, he opened the door for her.

"So how have been the past two months?" He asked as they drove to the restaurant.

"Pretty busy with work and you." She replied as she looked out of the window, he looked at her she looked angry and sad , just like the morning he left.

"Pretty good  I didn't get beat up." He said with a chuckle she nodded , as He looked at her then the road , his two months were pretty good his social game was awful when it came to her ,but he wanted to know her so he did what any rich man would do higher a private investigator.
