Chapter-17

Sunlight peeked through the window, spreading its warmth in the room, it was still early but not too early. Both the people in the room were deep asleep, recharging themselves for the upcoming day, not caring about anything in their surroundings. 

Naina: ugg...Mumma, please close the curtains, it's irritating me

Naian said in a loud sleepy voice, half of her words were muffled due to how sleepy she was. The stubborn sunlight again disturbed her and she turned away and faced the other side to welcome the same case. Her calls for her mother were not responded too.

Abhimanyu on the other hand was a very heavy sleeper, but due to those loud voices, he groaned and just pulled the blanket above himself and said " Stop" to the air, he thought it must be his mother.

Naina immediately woke up hearing a manly voice and started searching for that stupid person who first opened the curtains and then the more stupid person who voiced out the words so loudly.

Natina: who is it? don't you know we should talk slowly in the morning and who opened the curtains!!

She sat up properly and then immediately her eyes widened." OHHH GOD, haww, how could I forget, I am MARRIED!" she said in a loud voice and immediately zipped it listening to the groaning sounds that were coming from the sofa.

Naina: I was thinking the speaking loudly person to be stupid but I was doing the same, am I also on the list of those stupids, and moreover the curtains were open in the night too, so nobody opened it. That means ghum phir ke I was calling somebody stupid, who was not stupid but here I am too a stupid. ( I am like this too in the morning, feeling clueless and lost and dumb🤣🤣🤣)

"OH, Naina what has happened I have lost my mind, No No focus, what I am I gonna do? Did Abhimanyu hear me, but he looks deep in sleep" she was thinking all these things and then suddenly her eyes fell on her phone, it was 6:30!! seeing the time, she immediately panicked and then got off the bed and then rushed to her suitcase.

She opened it and halted recalling her mother's words that one should wear, something red and traditional on the first day. Naina didn't knew how to wear a saree, but she had learned it for her graduation and for university so it was now easy for her, and for her marriage shopping, her mother had made sure she carried a bunch of sarees and traditional clothes with her. Naina had made sure not to take any complicated sarees because she didn't know how to tuck a safety pin, and she was not ready to embarrass herself.

Taking the saree, she rushed to the bathroom, after some time she came back and started preparing for the day. She didn't have to go to university for a week as she had taken leave because of marriage. She prayed to God, and then took a deep breath and went near the sleeping hulk, she didn't know if she should laugh or feel sad, but seeing him sleeping on a sofa, with a big body looked so cute and funny, but at the same time she felt sad, seeing him sleeping so uncomfortably. 

Shaking all these away, she neared him and very gently touched his forearm and called out for him, but since he was so deep asleep, he didn't respond, she again called out for him, and then again, with each call she would raise her voice a little and decrease the distance between her and his ear. " Wake up please," she said it and then finally he opened his eyes and saw her.

Abhi's Pov

There was a constant sound near me and that kept coming near and near and near. Like why? I want to sleep more, but seems like this intruder is not willing to let me have my sleep, so I opened my eyes and was greeted by this beautiful face, that was...so near me?

That beautiful face and those mesmerizing eyes turned into a shocking mode and immediately straightened, and I was again left with a gap. I looked to see, that Naina was standing there with red cheeks and looking anywhere but me. Not just her cheeks were red but everything.
