Chapter-9

Finally, it was the day, the day which held great importance in the lives of people who get married, it was their engagement day. The Saxena house was very busy today, all one could see was the hustle and bustle of the people, people were so busy that they didn't even see what was the other person was doing.

Leaving all those chaos, Naina was still sleeping in her room free of all worries, not aware of the storm coming up to her room.

Sonali: OHH GOD, this is not supposed to be kept there, this pack is going to be kept for the rituals keep it aside. why arent these boxes placed in the car, we have so little time and these boxes are still kept here!!!

Aditiya: Mumma, relax relax what happened why are you shouting??

Sonali: see, all these things are so messed up, we have to leave in a little while. All the guests will be reaching, I have to talk to Pandit Ji also, and Bhabhi Ji said that they will also leave in a while and see we are not even prepared yet.

Karan: Sonali baba why are you getting so tensed huh? Adi is here, I am here and all our work is almost done. You don't have to panic, just relax okay I will ask somebody to keep those boxes in the car aaannndd they will keep it, you just sit here.

Adi( smiling ): uff mumma, see we all are there, okay now you sit and I will help you, you just order me. 

Sonali: is Naina ready, I had asked you to check on her??

Hearing these words, both of them bit their tongue-tip and looked at her with an awkward smile. She had asked Aditya to wake her up and tell her to get ready but when he reached her sister's room he left after seeing her because she was looking so cute while sleeping that he couldn't just wake her up and told his father to do so, but who are we kidding, her father was also the same just saw her and went, later they decided that they will wake her up after some-time but ( being sad) now both of them had been caught. 

Sonali looked at both of them with narrowed eyes, she knew this kind of thing would happen but being busy in all the preparations, she didn't think much of it. Now she was very angry, she looked at both of them and then went upstairs. When she entered Naina's room, she hailed for a moment and just looked at her, many thoughts were passing her head and she gazed at her daughter with loving eyes and soft gaze but again seeing the clock, she forgot all of it and went near her and called for her, but Naina just wined and faced the other side. Then suddenly she felt a lot of water and woke up with a jolt.

Naina: MUMMA!!!! flood, flood help help!!!  

When she finally looked at her surroundings, she found that there was no flood but a lot of water on her face and all over her mattress, when she looked up, she saw her brother standing there laughing and her parents' standings there with pursed lips. She with frowned eyebrows looked for the culprit but herself got shocked.

Naina: ROSHNI!!! oh my god, what....how I..you...? how!!

Roshni: surprise!!!! kaisa laga Roshni ka surprise? ( how was Roshni's surprise)

Naina: what are you doing here, I thought you were not coming today, we had talked and you said you had appointments.

Roshni: I know....but it was to surprise you dumbo. If I had told you then how would you get surprised and see I got what I wanted.

Naina (with mischievous eyes): so it was youuuu.......you spilled water on mee. Rohni ki bacchi ab tu dekh( Roshni now you see)

Like this Naina started chasing her and their cute and innocent banter started, at the end, both were lying on the bed laughing. " I missed you soo much and thought you really wouldn't come," Naina said with watery eyes and hugged her. " I had to come, meri best friend urf sister ki Shaadi hai. Ek bhi function kaise miss kar sakti hu ( It is my best friend or sister's wedding, how can I miss even one function)
