The air was filled with laughter and the gathering of family members and close friends. I take a sip of the strong wine in my glass as the sweet strains of classical music drifted through the crowd.

I couldn't believe it; Vixan and her fiance West were finally getting married, he was a member of the board and I had no idea that they were seeing each other, all that matters is that she was happy.

At the end of each seated aisle, jasmine scented candles hung from naked tree branches, spreading down the aisle with white leaves as far as the eyes could see.

The playground off to my right was empty, although a few children standing around the rows of chairs eyed it with a desire to play.

Obviously, they would much rather be jumping and climbing, instead of being fussed over by their mothers and aunts, having their ties and hair bows adjusted.

Balloons and streamers fluttered around the railing and banisters with a festive mixture of pink, light blue, and white.

Serenity was the maid of honor and has been busy helping Vixan get ready to meet the groom, she's doing an excellent job with the preparations and I know the outcome will be glorious.

A stretched Limo stood alone, decked out in ribbons and twisted coils of streamers, ready to whisk the groom and bride away. 'Just Married' was painted across the dark rear window.

As I sat there, I thought to myself how perfect and lovely everything was, the smell of fresh cut flowers filled the air.

Stravos was talking to one of the bride's maid at the far corner, she was obviously interested in him, I could tell by her body language and how she leans into him.

As long as he stays away from Serenity, that's enough to keep my nerves calm.

Whenever we talked at times, the way he speaks of her, it was as if he had known her for a long time.

Either way, he doesn't know her more than I do. Serenity loves me so whatever he says, isn't going to going to change that.

The music stopped and all heads turned to face the far end of the walk, they're starting, the opening to the bridal chorus started to play and down the isle she came.

I could not believe how beautiful Vixan was, she wore a strapless wedding gown with embroidery on her bodice and rhinestones and pearl beads were sewn on her gown.

She also wore a two tier veil, with a matching crystal head piece and she held a French rose silk bouquet.

Her dad held her left arm and smiled at her as they reached the top step.

There awaiting her was the pastor and her husband to be. He wore a black, single breasted, satin tuxedo with a white wing collar shirt.

The music faded and the pastor stepped up to the microphone, Bible in hand. He smiled at the assembly in appreciation, the kids were getting fussy, wanting to play.

"Cherished family members and honored guests, we are gathered here to celebrate the blessed union of two souls," he said.

The sound carried well from the loud speakers to either side of the podium.

The pastor finally placed the Bible down before him to address the congregation.

"Let us begin by offering thanks to the Lord on this memorable day."

We all bowed our heads and he prayed.

After the prayer was over, the preacher led them through their vows. It was now time for the exchange of rings.
