SerenityStravos isn't going to be home until later today, he had left for a business trip. However, he promised to be back as soon as possible though Kris would be staying over, she's been such a big help.
I felt free and at peace being here, it was a bit difficult to walk around on my feet since they would hurt from the pressure of my weight.
Stravos has been taking care of me so much to the point, where I'd feel embarrassed, he never lets me do anything.
We do sleep in the same bed but he has never touched me, when I try to go near him, he'd just shift elsewhere. I've never felt so comforted but he never allows me to get close.
I have gained a few pounds over the past months and I've been eating like a pig, he must be tired of me though he didn't seem to mind it. I haven't seen Glenn since the day he left, he never returned.
He sent me a text the day after which was outrageous and rude. I sat down on a soft cushion, trying to remember fully the words, he didn't want to be a part of his kid's lives nor should I contact him.
The pain left a scar but a huge rock, lifted from my back. I'm glad he's away from me and no where near my unborn baby. Such a dead beat, he decided not take any responsibility.
I almost feel sorry for hi, he's like a devil who came as an angel. Well, he's history.
The light of dawn slowly seeped into my room, warming the area around me. I rubbed my bleary eyes and walked to the window, the sky had a pearly glow. Staring out, the fresh scent of dew infiltrated my nostrils.
Little birds screamed crisply at my window and I tug the drapes apart.
"Ah!"
"Good morning Serenity."
Kris sang, stopping by the door with a bowl in hand, she's making breakfast so early.
"Morning!" Said I, happily.
"You're in high spirits."
She continues to stir the batter.
"Oh yes. I feel so thankful."
Her eyes weave pass my face and stopped at the large curve of my tummy.
"You're about seven months now right?"
"Yeah, I feel a bit heavy on my feet."
"You should refrain from standing around unnecessarily."
I haven't did an ultrasound because I wanted the sex of the unborn baby to be a surprise.
"Just getting some fresh air."
"I'll be in the kitchen, just yell my name if you need anything."
She says.
"Yell?" I laughed, "if you say so."
Kris leaves me to the quietness of the room and I braced a hand on my back.
I squeezed my eyes shut, "God, it hurts."
If Stravos was here, he would have helped to alleviate my discomfort.
The baby kicks and I gasp, grabbing onto the chair with both hands, that's always unexpected. The movements were so active, especially when I ate food prepared by him.
That's weird but he cooks so we'll, can't blame the little one.
"Hm?"
What's that, there was a small handle attached to the wall, next to where I sat, it was made to be a part of the concrete. I wouldn't have seen it, if my eyes weren't wondering.
