The day I've been waiting for my whole life has finally come, the blessed day that I'll make Serenity my wife. Standing in this massive church, I was elegantly dressed in signature herring- bone tailed fit jacket suit. All our family members and friends were seated in a beautiful arrangement of rare flowers, some drying tears from their eyes, others snapping pictures.

Our wedding was a celebration of love and of all those who came to share it with us, it was a day of reaffirming our bonds.

I've never been this flustered and nervous before in my entire life, my rapidly shaking hands were nothing compared to the thundering of my heart beat. The best man was near by, quickly offering an arm of support.

"You got this," Vangolio whispered.

After many months of planning and preparation, I was excited, nervous and anxious to carry on with this precious moment, that symbolized a new beginning with the love of my life.

This will be the first time seeing her in her wedding dress. I had no idea of how she looked or anything, my father Hensen slightly nods at me with encouragingly and a smile tug the corner of my lips.

The church doors were finally bursting open and all heads turn including mine, audible gasps scattered across the room and I tried to force back my tears with awe and reverence at the sight of wife to be.

Her wedding dress could have been made for royalty, she wore full white with cool silken colours of dark blue. It was like she stepped out from some heavenly places.

Astoundingly ravishing, it was .. magical, down to every detail. The train and veil was long, gliding slowly along as she walks hand in hand with her father, to the start of the music. Tears were rolling down my face and I tried to control my almost wobbling knees.

When she arrived at the alter, Dex turns to me with the warmest smile I've seen on his face.

"Take care of my daughter, she's still my little girl."

"I - I, y-yes, of course sir."

I was stammering and tongue twisted by the visionary sight of my bride. He laughs and pats my shoulder, I flushed, rubbing behind my neck. He moves away, leaving her with my love and care.

Vangolio nudges my arm, "Your face is the color of a tomato."

I cleared my throat then tug feverishly on the collar of my shirt. I couldn't wait to see her face.

The bishop took the microphone and the ceremony officially commenced. He smiled at the audience as he made the opening remarks and welcomed everybody to the procession.

After the ending of the prayer, the bishop then proceeded to the next step of leading us through our vows. I was holding back so much tears, that I had to keep blinking them away to see properly. She had her head bowed in a humble stance, a sign of submission as her husband to be.

"If anyone finds any reason that these two souls shouldn't be joined together in Holy matrimony, stand now or forever hold your peace."

The bishop says and his eyes were overseeing the large audience. My heart was sprinting on a thousand meter race track, praying deeply. Chiasu stands and every one gasps, she shouts.

"I wish you both happiness and peace!"

Tears were flowing down her cheeks, Oh God Chiasu, I nearly fainted. I held my head down, exhaling a breath of relief and gave her a smile.

Serenity and I shared beautiful vows that I will cherish forever as we exchanged rings. She placed her smaller hands in mine, they were really sweaty and shaking. I gave them a comforting squeeze.
