"You know my name, you have used it multiple times in the past week." Victoria smirked, still avoiding my gaze.

This was going to be a long day.

"I know but who's to say that that's your real name, I mean you've probably lied about a lot more."

I was speaking sternly, trying my best to get through to her.

"My name is Victoria Jones, would you like to know my middle name or are we not there yet."

She winked at me. I was a bit taken aback by it but wasn't about to let her know that. She was so confusing. One moment she was acting as if I din't exist the next she was flirting with me.

"Ok Victoria, let's cut to the chase shall we. Why were you at NYU?"

"O are we on first name basis now? Professor Romanovna. Or would you rather have me call you Natalia Alianovna Romanoff? Yeah I know your name as well.  I can do Miss Romanoff as well but I rather use that one in the bedroom."

Now she really was just playing with me, completely ignoring my question. I took a moment to look her up and down, she was kind of cute. Heck who am I kidding she was drop dead gorgeous. I let my eyes take her in for a second. It was really starting to annoy me that she wasn't looking at me. I wanted to see her eyes so I could read her better.

Vic
"My name is Victoria Jones, would you like to know my middle name or are we not there yet."

I winked at her, I could see some confusion in her eyes, for a short moment, but it was there. This was what I had to do? Just flirt with her and she would cave? While that's something I can do! Let me tell you this, I had heard a lot about Natasha Romanoff at the Redroom, she was the best there had ever been, but no one had ever mentioned her being a freaking angel. Especially in this lighting. She would not sense a lie as I told her this, because it was all based on the truth. Flirting with her was actually kind of fun, teasing her and seeing the confusion mixed with lust in her eyes. She tried to hide it and she did a great job at it, but every now and then I could read her. As you know I wasn't the best trained out there, but shooting a gun was something I was very very good at. however reading people wasn't one of my qualities.

"Ok Victoria, let's cut to the chase shall we. Why were you at NYU?"

"O are we on first name basis now? Professor Romanovna. Or would you rather have me call you Natalia Alianovna Romanoff? Yes, I know your name as well. I can do Miss Romanoff as well but I rather use that one in the bedroom."

Hahaha, I was enjoying this for real now, she had no idea what to say. I popped my thumb out of it socket to get rid of the cuffs, they were really cutting in my wrist. After getting them off I popped my thumb back. She was looking me up and down, almost as if she was curious to see me, the real me not the persona I was portraying. Maybe she was searching for the caring girl she had come to know in her classes this past week. I got scared what if she would look straight through me, I can't have her coming to close. Love is weakness. I tried to avoid her gaze as much as I could but I had to think of something else. As much as I was enjoying the teasing, I needed her to back off. I needed her to stop, because I knew that I wouldn't last long if she came to find out the truth.

First of who would believe me, secondly she would just hand me over to the authorities. it wasn't like she could just let me walk free, knowing I had the past that I did. I would be incarcerated for the rest of my life and that was not going to happen. I just wanted my normal life back, I was so close. Who could everything go so wrong so quick.

Nat
Suddenly I was startled by her jumping up and slamming her fist down on the table, she had managed to get out of the cuffs, stupid of course she knew how to get out of those. I was frozen for a second but soon jumped up pulling my gun aiming it at her face, and taking a step back.

"Fucking kill me already, I know you want to. There is no way out for me, I'm not like you. I'm just a wast of space." she yelled.

She didn't seem faced with my gun aimed at her head, all of a sudden she wasn't afraid to die anymore. I wanted to ask more, I wanted to know why there was no way out for her, why did she feel like a wast of space, but I knew I had to deescalate the situation otherwise I was going to have to pull the damm trigger on  her.

"I usually take some out first, you know, before going to bed with them."

I smiled friendly, completely ignoring her previous statement. She instantly calmed down. She was very confused and didn't know what to say, so instead she just sat back down again. I could see a small tear escape her eyes before she looked down. It stayed quiet for a while. I think this was as much interaction as I was going to get today.I tried talking to her a bit more but she never once looked up or acknowledged my presence. After today I was so confused I knew that she was different. She was out of her cuffs but just sat back down instead of attempting to kill me. In fact, she hasn't tried to kill anyone. She was acting all tough, but she definitely didn't just kill for fun, nor was it her first instinct.

"I think this is enough flirting for one day, I would join you in your cell but I rather not die tonight." I said giving her a wink.

I got a small smile in return. She looked more herself, more like the girl in my class. I knew it was a risk to stop now, but we had been at it for hours and I was getting tired. I'm just hoping she isn't back to full Redroom assassin tomorrow morning.

I called in the guards who had taken her here earlier. They took her back to her cell but not before cuffing her again. Next time I would bring Tony's special cuffs, there was no why for her to break out of those. She didn't struggle though. She was very calm letting the guards cuff her without protest. We had been talking all morning and afternoon, I was starving. I went to get some dinner and went of to bed afterwards. I had to think about a plan for tomorrow.
