Nat
I woke up with Vic slightly starting at me. She seemed bothered by her thoughts. A little frustrated perhaps?

"What are you thinking about?" I whisper.

"It's nothing" she sights pulling herself back together.

"Don't say that, you can talk to me, tell me what's on your mind." I say, she sights.

"You know when you drown... You don't actually inhale until right before you black out... The instinct to not let any water in is so strong, that you won't open your mouth until you feel like your heads exploding." She says

"Vic, What hap..." She cut me off

"Then when you finally do let it in that's when it stops hurting." she continues.

"Are you okay? What going on with you?" I ask concerned about where this is coming from all of a sudden.

"I'm fine." she shrugs.

"Yeah? Aside from the not sleeping, the jumpy-ness... the constant, overwhelming crushing fear that something terrible is about to happen? " I ask, letting her know that I noticed her behaviour. Everything she is feeling open on display. I remember when I couldn't sleep for weeks, feeling the exact same. I also already had my suspicions when she started ignoring me and fighting with everybody.

"H-How did you know?" she asks

"It's called Hypervigilance" I say

"Hypervigilance?" she asks

"The persistent feeling of being under threat, I know it all to well, but it gets better I promise." I explain.

Vic sights and gives me a hug, we stay in bed a little longer embraced in each other arms. Just peacefully lying there enjoying the silence. It was time for us to get up, not wanting to get out Vic starts to whine.

"Come on Vic we have a mission in an hour." I try to get up but Vic pulls me back to bed, a devilish smirk around her lips.

"Just. Ten. More. Minutes." She says between pecking my lips.

We are both struggling to get into our pants as fast a possible. As we are rushing down the hallway and the stairs in an attempt to make it to the conference room on time, still trying to pull our shirts over our heads. We hear Tony talk over the intercom in the walls, probably displaying us on the beamer, streaming the security footage. Most likely with everybody already in the room. No doubt in my mind that we were on speaker.

"Nat, Vic seriously?? hurry up!" He says angry.

"Yeah, Yeah I'm coming, I'm coming" Vic says panting.

"Ha I bet that's what she said." Wanda blurs out, laughing uncontrollably.

"At least I'm getting any." Vic snarks back. I had to smile at her comment.

We then both arrive at the conference room, Wanda and Vic still blushing, while Tony is just looking cranky. I have to admit Vic was quick to replay. We both sit down joining the others on the table. Steve then takes the floor and starts to explain the mission that we are about to get into.

"Shit can I get some backup in here, I'm pretty outnumbered?" Vic yelled through the comms.

"Fuck Vic, I told you to wait!" I snap back. We were supposed to go around the hydra bunker in teams of two but Vic decided that I was to slow for her and ren off. While I was the one actually taking down the hydra agents.
