2 weeks later.
"Move Zaylon I'm not playing with you." Kenadi pushed his hand off of her waist, and he laughed.
"Girl I can touch you." He put his hand on her shoulder, and she rolled her eyes.
"You're about to irritate me Zay, stop touching me." She shrugged him off, pushing her cart down the aisle.
He stopped the cart, softly grabbing her face. She looked away from him, blinking back tears.
"Kenadi I'm just playing with you mama, my fault." He rubbed her jaw, and she sniffed.
"It's not you, I'm just frustrated in general." She mumbled, pushing her cart to the self check out line.
Zay scanned her items, bagging them up and putting them back in the cart.
Kenadi wiped her face, pushing the cart to Zay's car.
"Get in the car, I got it." He told her, and she nodded, grabbing her phone, getting in his car.
She wiped her face, her leg shaking as she tried to stop crying.
She rubbed her heart necklace, sighing. Kenadi missed Dave and Kairi so much, it felt like it had happened yesterday.
Zay got in the car, grabbing her hand as he pulled off.
About 10 minutes later, he pulled in front of a lake.
"Come on." He mumbled, helping her out the car. He held her hand, pulling her to a bench that was right in front of the lake, with sand on the ground.
He had a loaf of bread in his hand, sitting on the bench, and Kenadi took her sandals off, pulling her dress up, and sitting in the sand.
Zay chuckled, sitting next to her.
"Talk to me." He said, undoing the loaf of bread as ducks started nearing them.
"I'm fine." She mumbled, grabbing a piece of bread, tearing it up, and throwing it.
"No you not baby." He wrapped his arms around her, and she instantly broke down on his shoulder.
She held his neck, letting her tears fall, and this time she didn't try to hold them back.
He rubbed her back, as he stared out at the water.
"I miss them so bad Zaylon. This shit not fair man." Kenadi sniffed, and he didn't say anything back.
"I just want them back. Why it had to be them? And I hate Cairo so much, I hate him so bad man. He told me we were gone get through it together. He told me he wasn't leaving me. He fucking left me." Kenadi cried, her heart breaking all over again.
"I loved him so much. I did some fucked up shit, but I loved him. Everything about him. His fat ass mug he always wore, his kisses, his heavy ass snoring. And when he used to get colds, my baby couldn't breathe in his sleep." Kenadi smiled.
