" Miss sanders! " I yelled gathering hers and everyone else's attention.
She sighed getting back to reading her book. But everyone's eyes were still on me signaling them to look away. I headed towards her table.
" Mind if I take a seat ?" I asked waiting for her to respond.
She slowly lifted her head, her soft brown hair falling freely against her face.
She looked me up and down. Going back to reading her book.
After a couple of seconds, she responded " if you will sit it will be taken " she said taking a sip of her drink.
A smile formed on my face she's different.
I sat down enjoying my ice cream watching her.
" are you just going to keep watching me ?" she questioned from behind her book.
" not that I enjoy the silence, but wouldn't want to get in the way, of your reading," I said taking a bite of my ice cream.
" and to be honest, it's fun watching you read "
She shut the book glaring at me " see, now you make it all creepy, giving me all the serial killer, obsessive stalker vibes " she replied frantically, her hands moving in all directions.
I chuckled out loud " And you're still talking to your creepy stalker," I said slyly. Her eyes widened in realization.
" you know what you can have the table, and enjoy your oh-so-sweet ice cream," she said about to leave.
" come on Miss sanders, you're a teacher, don't you know it's rude to leave your guest at the table, and if you leave now I'll assume that you're scared of me," I said whispering the last part leaning forward so only she could hear it.
" first of all your not my guest, secondly I am not scared of anyone and by the way why should I leave the table, I came here first," she said her face turning red in anger, she plopped herself down on the chair but made sure she pushed the chair a little far from the table away from me. I smirked watching her glaring at me.
"you're adorable " I mumbled forwarding my ice cream for her.
" What? " she questioned.
" I asked would you like to have some ice cream?" I said a little louder.
" oh, I thought I heard you say something about me being adorable," she said a little lost.
" oh yeah that too," I said looking right at her.
She ignored me, pushing my ice ream away she looked everywhere except me.
" Do you like this cafe? " I questioned. She was really adorable, I could sit here and watch her my entire life. This was the first time I was so smitten by someone.
She nodded her head. Looking towards a table occupied by a group of old people laughing and having fun.
" oh really! " I questioned excitedly.
Gaining back her attention while she watched me weirdly.
" Haan, hum," she said. Placing her book in her bag.
" wow what a coincidence I like this place too since I was a kid I would always come here, this is like my go-to place," I said confidently.
She leaned back in her chair folding her hand over her chest, with a smirk she continued " so if you had been coming here since you were a kid you must be having a favorite memory in this place " she said shit this was my first time coming to this place and I had no idea this place even existed until Ricardo got me here.
