33. Hello girlfriend!!!

It's been two days since Austin confessed to me and I made it a point to avoid him with my dear life it wasn't difficult as he wasn't here he was on a business trip, the past few days I hadn't felt anything but it's starting to get me, is this how it is going to be with him not around.

It feels terrible, It's like something is missing and it cannot be replaced.
I walked around in this giant house that once felt comforting but now felt empty. My head playing a thousand scenarios warning me to act fast before losing him.

I plopped down on a couch, placing my feet on the backrest I groaned in frustration,  l lay on my belly leaning forward trying to get a hold of my phone as it kept buzzing hoping it was Austin.

My face immediately dropped as I answered the phone " what is it ?" I questioned in a dull tone.

" Bitch could you be a little more excited.....to talk to me," Eddie said plopping on the couch with a sigh.

" edda how many times I have told you not to call her a bitch, she's such a pretty girl " Edena chimed in with her sweet voice, her head slightly plopping in the frame " hello beautiful, " I said excitedly sitting cross-legged on the couch.

" sweetie I missed you" she coed in trying to fit her face into the frame while Eddie kept moving it.

" Eddie stop acting like an ass and keep the phone stable your mom wants to talk " I yelled out leaning my back against the couch.

Eddie looked at his mother expecting her to say something " what? Do you need attention seeker " she asked in a playful tone. " first of all I am not an attention seeker and second did you just hear what she called me....yell at her," he whined like a little kid.

" you are an ass...as a mom, I hoped for better but I can settle for less," she said laughing along with me while Eddie kept yelling and whining.

"Oh wait let me call Henry he's been waiting to talk to you for so long......Henry look who's on the phone " Edena yelled twirling her brown hair behind her ears.

" Wow, Son is back no one cares but this bitch calls, the entire world has to be alerted " Eddie whined sulking.

" don't call her a bitch " she said smacking him on his head. I chuckled while he glared at me.

The familiar face of a tall broad man with dark hair popped in " look and people say, handsome men don't exist tsk " I said with a disappointed nod. It immediately bought a smile to his face lighting up those blue eyes.

" don't try the sweet talk on me, I am still angry at you for not coming," he said taking away the phone from Eddie and sitting next to him, while Edena sat on the armrest.

" Can I get back the phone, and my best friend? " Eddie asked annoyed trying to get a hold of the phone. Henry swatted his hand away " why did you send him alone hon..." he said giving a side eye to Eddie.

" I know but who would take care of the university when the principal isn't around," I said sighing dramatically.

" It's our university nothing to be worried about and if it was that important you should have left him there and come, am I right love, " Edena said, addressing Henry leaning over his shoulder.

" All of you'll attack me, it's like I am not even their child....you know what, why don't you ll just adopt her," he yelled out. " then what about you "I questioned.

" no problem we can chuck him out on the cold streets of Switzerland any day" Henry suggested.

" Dad " he yelled out in annoyance.

Making all of us chuckle " if you don't want to be kicked out there's another way, get married to her like I always said " Edena said casually.

" Mom come on not this again, I told you...."
