16. Rain!!!

The weather suddenly started getting chilly, maybe it was about to rain, the entire time I made sure to ignore zach I did not want to ruin my mood.

Kia and Sergio were busy hosting their guests, while my dad had fun with his friends.

Austin was talking to a few people who happened to recognize him, while he did not.

I stood at a distance, watching the laughter and giggling of people with their loved ones.

I encircled my arms around myself, to keep myself warm, the wind kept blowing my hair annoying me.

Austin walked toward me a couple of minutes later " I hate people " he grunted.

I looked at him with a smile " your definitely an exception " he said returning the smile, I rolled my eyes. Trying to remove the hair away from my face.

I raised my brows looking at Austin whose eyes were fixated on me.

" just wondering, would I still have the honor to take you back home " he questioned.

" hmm let's see...." I said pretending to think.

"huh? " Austin questioned.

" I am just kidding " I replied.

As I watched a couple of men walking in our direction, knowing they were approaching Austin as their eyes flickered between him and the ground and it held fear.

" until then have fun," I said signaling him to look in their direction.

He grunted in annoyance " no wait..." he yelled but before that, I walked away.

I looked at my phone as I received a message from Austin.

Watching you die of boredom.

He looked around searching for me I raised my hand waving at him, he looked down texting.

I watched him excuse himself, walking towards the ice cream table.

I looked forward my smile immediately dropping as I watched my dad, kia, Sergio, zach, Cassie, and Zach's dad watching me intently.

" how long have you been here," I asked looking at all their faces each one holding a different emotion.

" Since you kept looking in your phone and blushing at the message you received " kia replied crossing her arms across her chest.

" I wasn't blushing " I denied too quickly.

" you have a boyfriend ?" dad questioned, trying to be civil about it.

" no, I don't " I denied again." and can you all stop asking so many questions....like this is some investigation, " I said expressing my annoyance.

" can you'll stop giving my child a hard time " Zach's father replied side hugging me.
