Railway modernization

So before we get to seeing the diesels in this story and other stuff I wanna show you guys a continuation of last time
Percy is still saddened over what James did to her awhile ago but soon she gets over it and starts using female pronouns one day Thomas is busy and Percy has to take Annie and clarabel and the vicar from the beach but on his way it's raining heavily and Percy stops in front of a flooded area she tries to go back but a bridge collapsed as she goes through the flooded area water comes in and gets into the fire box and she is stopped but percy struggles on even with floorboards from clarabel then Harold comes in and drops supplies for them....onto percy's head they make it to safety and the fat controller congratulates the two sometime after this Thomas and Trevor had an adventure together then we get to something the events called the eight famous engines
At the barrow in furness percy is telling some engines about the time she braved through bad weather when Henry arrives Henry tells the other engines to go away calling Percy silly for being egotistical Percy reminds Henry about the time he hid and got locked up in a tunnel and runs off to knapford there she sees a sign that says danger Thomas tells her to abide it since last time he went down the mine but Percy is curious and persuades the trucks the trucks end up pushing her past the sign and into the sea after being scolded by the fat controller Percy is fished out and Percy's steam engine is sent to the works for repairs
A foreign engine named the big city engine(who has a face for whatever reason)visits the island of sodor
A heated argument breaks out between big city engine duck and Gordon over the name of London's big station Gordon wants to go to London to prove that the stations name is king's cross but he isn't allowed to pass barrow
But when a engine taking the express from the mainland derails Gordon jumps at the chance to take the express and the next day the fat controller reads in the paper that Gordon has received a heroes welcome when Gordon returns he is upset to find out that the big station in London was St Pancras
Gordon is exhausted after his trip to London so james does his work while he rests when Toby visits him on his way to the works James brags to him about his importance when toby goes to refuel the signalman who is new tells him to clear the line forcing toby to struggle into Kellsthorpe road but toby's tanks are nearly empty to begin with and he soon runs out of water he asks James to help him and he does pushing Toby all the way to the station
Thomas arrives at knapford to see some engines from the mainland arrive percy and Toby tell him that the fat controller has something big planned later at the house the fat controller reveals that a girl from the mainland sent a letter to him asking if she can meet the actual real Thomas and his friends so he is sending his eight famous engines to England Thomas Edward henry Gordon James Percy Toby and duck are excited to go to the mainland
The next day Thomas is showing Jinty one of the foreign engines around the yard while he boasts about his race in an attempt to reenact the race Thomas accidentally damages his buffers his e2 is repaired just in time for everyone to leave to England everyone enjoys their stay there getting to meet lots of fans and they all have a very fun time
Later on in 1957 City of Truro another engine that has a face visits the island of sodor he is very well known because he is the first ever steam engine to have ever gone more then 100 miles an hour and he has a lengthy conversation with duck until it is night Gordon is jealous of City of Truro's record claiming that a dome less engine can't be trusted he later tries to equal the record but his dome comes loose and falls off the viaduct all of his passengers laugh at him so does his friends when he gets back home
A few months later the fat controller is getting tons of letters from fans of sodor asking him to add a Diesel engine to the railway in order to keep the railway up to date he decides to do so anyway when he tells the other engines about this they are skeptical about having a diesel be on their railway after many years of it being only steam engines the fat controller states that they will get use to the diesel over time
Then the next day the diesel arrives the diesel's basis is a British rail class 08 diesel electric shunter painted black
Diesel:(hello you steamies my name is diesel)
Fat controller:(that's not true because your name came in as Bruce Your last name is unknown)
Diesel gets embarrassed by this
Diesel:(just call me diesel for the remainder of my stay here)
Later on diesel claims to duck that he and other diesels are revolutionary but duck is unimpressed and tells diesel to go and fetch his trucks for him
Diesel attempts to take some old rusty vans away afterwards but their brakes jam and all diesel does is derail them as he helps clean up the trucks start to sing a parody of pop goes the weasel much to his annoyance
The trucks continue to tease diesel and diesel believes that duck made him look silly and plans to have him sent away by lying to the other trucks by telling them lies about Henry Gordon and James the trucks then proceed to tell the engines
Gordon:(disgraceful)
James:(disgusting)
Henry:(despicable)
They later refuse to let duck in the house as they argue the fat controller arrives after hearing all sides of the story he suggests that duck go to wellsworth for awhile duck sadly does so
At wellsworth Edward consoles duck over diesels lies about him and helps him settle into life at wellsworth duck takes up the position of a banker but one day some trucks break free and chase duck down Gordon's hill duck manages to slow the trucks down gradually but he almost collided with another train before getting diverted onto a siding and crashing into a barber shop duck comes in the barber shop later and tells the barber everything the barber is furious and puts shaving cream onto duck the fat controller comes and points out that duck prevented a major accident from happening the barber splashes duck with water to get the shaving cream off and the fat controller tells duck that diesel has been sent away for telling lies about the steam engines and duck is welcomed back home
Meanwhile back on the Skarloey railway peter Sam and sir Handel are given new buffers and a new Diesel engine named rusty(a transgender woman who became a man)arrives
But sir Handel continues to act in his same old way Gordon sees sir Handel shunting and advises him to get out of work the next morning by pretending he is sick sir Handel does so the next morning and peter Sam and rusty go to shunt trucks for him peter Sam goes to shunt trucks so they pull a trick on him they snap their chain and run into him cracking his funnel and denting his boiler peter Sam is rescued by rusty and goes to the Skarloey residence sir Handel apologizes and he is punished by the fat controller for his lying
Peter Sam still recovering is delighted when Skarloey returns to service they talk about the going ons while Skarloey and Rheneas were away on vacation and the new people like rusty and a bad tempered new addition named Duncan with strong language and rough manners they are interrupted by Rheneas to tell them that Duncan got stuck in a tunnel
Skarloey tales some workman to go and help Duncan get out the fat controller rebukes Duncan for this and Duncan behaves for the rest of the evening
Skarloey meets with rusty and compliments her on her work on her line rusty confides that the line before cros-ny-cuirn is dangerous and she is Afraid that Duncan will derail Duncan overhears at insults rusty the next day rusty is still cross with Duncan leaves him to go get his own coaches Duncan is late and James tells him about the time he supposedly made diesel leave single handedly Duncan is impressed and is so focused on sending rusty packing that he comes off the dangerous line when rusty hears she grudgingly assists for the sake of the passengers and after Duncan apologizes for being rude the two become friends
Some men come to look at the line
Peter Sam and sir Handel remember that people did the same on their old line and it was closed down
The residents of the Skarloey railway are miserable until peter Sam reveals that the men are actually from the bbc who will be filming the engines for a documentary everyone is happy except for sir Handel who attempts to get out of it by pretending to be sick again then Skarloey responds by saying that they will dismember sir Handel and re form him on tv
Peter Sam is given the honor of pulling the tv equipment and after a circuit around the line stops to film Skarloey making a speech Skarloey reveals that she and Rheneas have a brother named Talyllyn and they met him again while they were on vacation this surprises everyone
Later on in 1959 Thomas is trying to decide what to do with his life since he runs a branch line on Ffarquhar and doesn't have anything to do with his friends anymore he then decides that he will be moving out of the house and going to live with Toby this surprises everyone especially Percy who doesn't want Thomas to leave the same goes with Gordon both of them try to convince Thomas to not leave but he tells them that everyone most move on in their life he should as well he has been living with Gordon for 32 years now and he must start a new beginning Gordon and Percy come to accept that Thomas is moving out and a big farewell party is held at the house everyone says goodbye to Thomas
Thomas:(thanks for everything guys)
Gordon:(so long my nephew may we see each other again)
An era has ended for Gordon he no longer has to care for Thomas too everyone a era has ended
